I came here for a prenatal education class on an early Saturday morning. The good news was that there was plenty of parking — since the hospital is pretty dead quiet on the weekends; as in nothing is open. The space is super-outdated and could use some updates –as most of the non-critical outpatient clinics are run out of this site. The NYGH breastfeeding clinic is run out of this site and does require an appointment ahead of time and is quite decent. Overall — the Branson site is ok — but it could benefit from a few upgrades and NYGH could consider utilizing the site a bit better — since there is plenty of space that is supremely underused over the weekend.

I found this place while looking for a hospital in North York. It is a division of NYGH and according to the website, as long as your injury/situation is not life threatening, or extremely serious, they advise you to go to this location to alleviate wait times at the main hospital location. I decided to check it out and I was pleasantly surprised. Set up similar to a walk in clinic but with full hospital facilities, I would gladly go here instead of a walk in clinic or emergency room. There was 1 person in the waiting room when I arrived(mid-afternoon on a Thursday), and I was taken in within 5 minutes. In total, I was there for just over an hour and received a quick treatment, diagnosis & referral for my knee injury. I would definitely recommend for minor injuries/illnesses that you think would need tests and answers right away.
