Pandora Scarborough Town Centre

I went to this location a few days earlier hoping to exchange a pair of earrings I had purchased at the Markville location. As it is near to Christmas the store was very busy and there was a lineup to get in and another lineup to cash. I thought that I was lucky that I has called to put my item on hold as this meant I could go straight to the cash line. However even this line took half an hour. I felt the service was very slow and inefficient. When I reached the front of the line I was told that my item was not put on hold. However they had more so the sales lady brought out a new pair for me to cash. At this point in time they told me that earrings are final sale. I told her that I was not told this at the Markville location. They claimed that was the law and they could not change it for me. Even though the earrings had never been worn before they would not make an exception even after they made me wait in line for half an hour! I went back to the Markville location the next day and they told me that earrings can be exchanged no problem. What a HUGE difference in customer service! I will never go back to the location at STC. The Manager at the Markville location was so nice I was able to exchange my earrings plus she helped me to pick out 2 more rings as gifts.

I love going to this location. I have been quite a few times and each time has been nothing short of amazing! Each employee I have encountered here has been very professional, friendly, efficient and they always go that extra mile to make you feel welcomed. They have always taken the extra time to ask me questions to better understand my concerns or what I am specifically looking for. I have bought every type of jewelry from charms to bracelets to rings and I have never had a problem or issue with this location.
All the jewelry here is very beautiful and durable. The ladies at this location always make sure to wrap up the jewelry nice for you and they always include a catalog and a gift reciept. I love the fact that all the jewelry comes with a year warranty so for example if a bead or stone falls off or comes lose they will fix it for you. Pandora also offers free cleaning for all jewelry.
I always come back to this location, after all the positive experiences ive had. I recommend it to everyone!!!

Oh how I love Pandora! Every time I come into a Pandora store, with of course the exception of one location (see ‘Complete Cockups’ list)… oh wait, make that two! Yorkdale is horrible as well but I don’t have a review on them yet.
Okay so apart from those two locations, I’ve always have a pleasant experience and my shopping experience at STC Pandora was no different.
I’ve shopped at this location a few times and the customer service is always fantastic. On this particular day, because of an early morning appointment, I arrived at the mall before it opened. I walked around window shopping for a bit and then plunked myself down in front of Pandora to eagerly await the arrival of the Pandora employee (visualize: puppy waiting at the front door for it’s master to come home).
Knowing how busy Pandora stores can get during the day, this was probably the most ideal time to come! I was the only customer in the store (granted, that lasted only seconds!) and I was in and out in no time with a new bracelet and charm!
This time, I opted for the smooth leather (triple wrap) bracelet in black. The coloured smooth leather bracelets seem to have almost a metallic finish to them and the brown leather one doesn’t look like it was ‘finished’ at all. It’s strange… and it isn’t a one-​off, I’ve seen it at other stores too… the brown leather one is just shoddy looking. Anyway, I’m extremely happy with my purchase and the customer service I received from this store.

I was in the store today bought a bracelet and two charms and the customer service was amazing. Very friendly and very personable. And they also clean your jewelry for free which is another great service/​bonus.

My first time at this location didn’t go so well because I had ordered a ring that I’ve been wanting for so long and it just took too long to arrive. The sales lady did not bring to my attention that it would take more than 5 weeks for my ring to come. Luckily I was able to request for my pre-​payment back because I was just so unhappy about that.
The second time I came here, I was set on the things I wanted to buy. I did my research prior to coming to the store because I wanted it to be a seamless transaction. And so it was. The sales lady that assisted me was surprised that it went so well and quick! She was helpful, friendly, and tipped me on upcoming in-​store promotions, which had me all excited again. From that day, the service made up the bad initial experience.

I recently bought a Pandora bracelet and a couple of charms from the Yorkdale location. There, I received horrible service and witnessed my own bracelet being mistreated by the sales representative. She had been dropping the bracelet and charms onto the glass counter, and showed little care for the jewelry. Because this is a gift, I wasn’t able to feel comfortable knowing that the bracelet and charms had been previously tortured and dropped onto hard surfaces. I know the clasps/​buckles on Pandora bracelets do break over time, and I did not want to think that it will break sooner because of the multiple falls it took before I even bought it.
So at Scarborough Town Centre, the reps apologized dearly for my bad experience at Yorkdale and quickly exchanged my bracelet and charms. I saw them explaining the bracelet sizing to other customers, and placing the bracelets and charms onto cushioned surfaces as oppose to Yorkdale. They also took the time to help their customers pick out charms. Compared to the Yorkdale location, this location is a paradise for shoppers. It delivers top-​notched service along with the quality products. The next time a charm catches my attention, I will be going out of my way to come back to the Scarborough Town Centre location.
