I give five star to the feeling of the place but still need to see if the instructors are great or helpful or not when I actually start learning tonight!

Beautiful space in looks and sound. Watched a great performance called«Stones World» by Tim Ries and band. Show was based on Ries’ jazz(sax) versions of Stones tunes. Bernard Fowler performed lead vocals. It was an excellent show. As for the venue, the RCM is an amazing place to take in a concert. Wonderful looks and sound inside the theatre. Gorgeous aesthetics all around. The view of the city night lights from the reception/bar area is incredible.

The new RCM is a beautiful building that balances old and new perfectly. Excellent instructors here, but even if you are not a musician, check out Koerner Hall which has a fantastic range of concerts(classical, jazz, world music, etc.). The hall itself is stunning with great acoustics. I’ll also let you in on a secret: there is a b espresso bar in the lobby which is open for regular hours(not just during performance days). Very quiet, beautiful space, tons of seating, and the same excellent coffee and espresso drinks as the location on Queen East. There is also a nice patio looking out onto the ROM/Philosopher’s Walk.
