The Bagel Stop

The bagel stop is the ultimate breakfast Savior when you wake up late or the TTC runs late that morning and you only have less than 10 minutes to get to work. I have had countless mornings of power walking past the crowd going North to try and beat the morning line and get my bagel just in time to rush to work. I usually order a sesame bagel double toasted with butter (the toasted sesame seeds are the best!) and a small orange juice. My total — $ 2.89 not too shabby for a big bagel and a small juice to go. This place usually has line-​ups to the doors of Union just because of how convenient and great they are with their customers. A lot of the time the girls there know their customers orders and have developed relationships with their customers which is always great to see and they are absolutely phenomenal with getting through the line-​ups so you are never having to wait more than 3 minutes to get your order done, paid for and in your hands.
I do come here quite often however the girls have yet to remember my order which is why I deducted a star however, this is a great place to come by if you are in a rush or if you are just hungry for a toasty bagel. Not to mention they do have lunch specials for tuna salad, chicken, BLT’s and egg and bacon bagels which are just under $ 6 – 7 dollars and are fresh!

I had one all-​dressed bagel here. Very dry and tasteless. Much worse than other bagel shops. Won’t come back again. 1.1 per bagel

I’ve been coming to this place for some time now. It’s a shame this is my first time checking-​in. It’s a small franchise which does exactly what its name says and more! They offer bagels: butter, peanut butter, jam, cream cheese, swiss/​cheddar/​mozzarella, scrambled egg etc. They have sandwiches: egg, tuna, chicken, salmon etc… Drinks from coffee, tea, juice, milk, hot chocolate, soft drinks etc. To make things better, the price is pretty good. Everything will be less than $ 5, so be sure to be impressed.
I recommend this place if you’re in a hurry in the morning. If you’re a frequent customer, they will recognize you and your order. This place has saved my life on many occasions. A must try!

I love a place where they know my order. They probably don’t know my name & I can’t remember theirs. Still the BS ladies know a lot about me. One knows that if I’m there twice in one day, my second bagel will be tuna salad. That I love grape juice. That if I order the egg BLT, I didn’t get enough sleep the night before. She also lets me know if I’m losing weight and that I shouldn’t be losing it «for a boy». I’ve assured her that I’m not.
With the other, we share descriptions of books we’re reading but never the titles. It’s our thing.
It’s not really that hard to cut and toast a bagel. Or slather spreads and jams on it. But I come here for the experience. I’m always guaranteed to feel a little better after stopping by.
