this monstrosity by the lake should be nuked and replaced by the original waffles, hot dogs and ice cream stand that was there before.

Thought we’d stop at this place finally after passing by it almost every day. The Breakfast Club is located in a bit of a weird stretch of Lakeshore at Ashbridges Bay. It must really hurt during the cold months as there would be little or no pedestrian traffic at all. When we walked in there was a couple of old guys that looked like regulars sitting at the counter and an older somewhat crazy looking lady passing the time. You order your food at the counter, grab a seat and wait for them to yell out to you that your food is ready. I got the bacon & eggs breakfast. It was ready in a jiff.(For you rye toast lovers out there like myself, there’s only the plain white or brown toast.) The eggs were good. Not too runny. But the hashbrowns were much too dry. Like they’d been sitting around a little too long before i ordered and they just heated ‘em up. Blech. I am a bonefide potato lover! and these ones needed ketchup… too bad so sad. There are a few tables outside for those really beautiful days in the summer, which i’m sure would be really nice. This place was ok, but i’d rather go down the street to Beachside Grill on Queen.
