Wow. Ignoring a customer because you’re having a nice conversation. Just wow. Coffee is good though. Just bad service. Will reluctantly come back here for the coffee.

My fave place to get a London Fog is at Second Cup. But I usually get two tea bags when I order a large, but at this location I only got one teabag and it tasted very mild and not as strong of a flavor that I like :(

Little cozy place where you can get a nice $ 2 brewed coffee and lots of sandwiches, cakes and cookies, all from $ 2 to $ 8. The staff is really nice and the place feels really comfortable, although it’s really small and always filled with people. One thing I don’t like is that they don’t have any tables outside, like the Starbucks nearby.

The staff here are all totally friendly and cute and on the rare occasion that I have had dessert it’s been fresh and tasty. Points from me come from the fact they are open late. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because it can be so busy that there’s nowhere to sit and many tables have study groups or business-type meetings going on so it’s not quiet. Not the end of the world in warmer weather when I can take my coffee to a bench outside but when you have 30 minutes to kill in the middle of the winter hanging around the coffee station defrosting and waiting to get your primal-on and pounce on the next available seat is not ideal.

A regular Second Cup, but during the day, they have mac n cheese or chili for about $ 3! They put it in a small cup/bowl, but it’s really dense, so it’ll be sure to fill you up! Not the most appetizing meal, but I definitely trust this more than the food trucks parked outside, in terms of sanitation!

Good quality location. I prefer this place to the other cafés near the south side of the St. George campus.

This is one of the smallest second cup locations I’ve ever visited lol. Great location for UofT students rushing to University College circle. But don’t idle. There’s just no room for comfortable lounging/studying/reading/meeting/etc… The food and beverage are the same old– reliable, tasty, and loaded with sugar on the most part haha. Again, heads up students. A cheesecake-brownie-high will get you through class, your ride home, and beyond! I RECOMMEND– White Hot Chocolate. Always. EXTRATIP– Starbucks and Timmies on or near campus if SC is not your C of T ;)

Not bad, depends what barrista is working, one time, they had no idea where anything was. But it’s a good place to sit, and the wifi is free, coffee isn’t bad

so I don’t really write reviews for chain cafes like starbucks, tim hortons and second cup, but this particular location catches your attention. the service is friendly and all that. as expected from second cup. but the interior is different and nicer than other cafes. there is a whole cozy deeper room inside the café with cozy corners to hide in with your laptop, book or date. lots of couches and plugs for your laptops and other technology. very cute and cozy.

I like this Second Cup because I find most of the staff to be friendly and they know how to pull off most drinks really well. Unlike other Second Cup’s I’ve been too, the baked goods here are plenty and fresh instead of being limited and stale. This particular location has a good amount of seats that are mostly occupied by students. The heat in the back area is always blasting in the winter, and the air conditioner can turn you into an ice-cube in the summer. Sometimes I feel like I’m sitting in a comfy dungeon since the seats are cozy and the place is dim-lighted without any windows. Avoid the bathrooms here; sooo disgusting! You’ve been warned.

Just across the street from most UofT lecture halls, Second Cup may have the upper hand on Starbucks with it’s location and interior layout(damn them for building a Starbucks in the med sci building). Clearly aimed to be a place for students, they have a lot of tables and couches in the back for all your cramming /group meeting needs. The baristas are all very friendly and make a great drink everytime. Also a plus if you have your SPC card on you and can upsize for free to that large Caramel Corretto cuz you’ll need it for that 3 hour lecture coming up(oh god).
