We were on a hunt for Sharma while visiting family in Toronto — just walking the downtown area, staring into Shwarma, Falafel and Meditarranean restaurants and either saying«let’s try it» or «pass», depending on what we saw. This one got a thumbs up so we went inside. Unfortunately for me, we’d already eaten dinner — so I ordered just a Baclava for dessert. Hubby however was ready for meal # 2, so he ordered Sharma sandwich. The gentleman serving us(one of the owners? We think so.) was very concsientous and attentive. The sandwich Rob got was delicious!(I had a bite — wish I had eaten here than at our first choice.) :-(My dessert was also good — a bit unusual as it had a custard type of filling instead of the usual minced nuts. Décor was nicer than typical restaurant of this genre — usually they are, quite frankly, grease pits. This one had a beautiful red tile in the cooking area, and a neutral paint job throughout the rest of the restaurant — it was remarkably clean. Talked a little with the man who helped us with our order — very nice person. Overall a good experience. Would I recommend: Yes. Would I return: Yes.
