Town Moto is a shop in downtown Toronto specializing in motorcycle gear, parts and related ephemera.

Historique

Fondé en 2012.

Town Moto opened up on Ossington Avenue in Toronto in May 2012.

Situated downtown Toronto at 132 Ossington, the store has a clean but rugged aesthetic with racking and lighting that wouldn’t be out of place in your own motorcycle dugout. Town Moto stocks bars and grips for your moto, general maintenance items (oil, filters, chemicals, etc.), some cool reading material as well as safety and street wear like helmets, jackets, boots and gloves.

Some of the great brands we carry include: Arai, Rev’it!, Vanson, Roland Sands Design, Biltwell, Brixton, Deus Ex Machina, Alpinestars, Held, Triumph and many more.

If there’s something we don’t have in stock we can special order most parts that might need for working on your bike.

These guys and gals are one of a kind! The store is always well stocked with a good assortment of parts, gear, clothing and too much stuff that appeals to me. The staff is awesome, always treat me well and help me with everything I could need or want. very knowledgeable and friendly. deal with in confidence!

Staff are great and they offer a great selection. Prices are a little high but it is a small brick and motar shop so it’s to be expected. What needs work is one of the owner’s attitude. She is about as personable as a serial killer

If you have tattoos and you have lots of money and time, check this place out.
Went in this weekend with my bf, who has a motorcycle and wants me to ride with him. The items they have are nice, but they have no sizes in stock, and the prices are nuts. I was interested in an Alpine star jacket (that they didn’t have any sizes for). When I got home I googled it, and found it online, shipped (and in stock) for $ 200 cheaper!
I get it, it’s a small boutique, but if it’s not in stock, what’s the point?
The guy who was working also had a too cool attitude. Unless you’re in the tattoo club and have mountains of money to burn, don’t waist your time.

Here’s the story. Basically I needed clutch plates, I hopped on over to Town Moto and without headache they got those in for me.
Hers the downer: after waiting through the long weekend and getting obviously anxious to start riding … they were the wrong plates, the manufacturer made a big ol screw up… What a HEADACHE… So I thought.
The manager Thomas at Town Moto went absolutely above and beyond to fix the problem as well as offering a full refund without an issue.
Q: will I go back to town Moto.
A: 100%

I loved the selection they carried and was beyond stoked on ordering from them. However, they mailed out my order to the incorrect address and didn’t have any tracking to see where it ended up. When I contacted them about it, I was told they couldn’t resend it or refund me until they got it back. I wouldn’t know if they did or not cause of the lack of tracking, either way, it never got to me.
I understand their not wanting to lose money, but my purchase was only $ 50 and taking my word for it and replacing the items would have made me rave about the store even more. Working for a small business myself, I know the value of retaining a customer and making them hyped on wanting to go back over and over.
Maybe the package will show up, but it’s been over 3 months so I doubt it. I recommend they start using tracking for all orders, worth it to keep their customers and their company more accountable.
Otherwise, their stuff is rad. Just bummed over the shipping to the U.S. experience.

This store and it’s staff had exceeded beyond my expectation with their knowledge and friendliest people. This has been my go to for motorcycle riding gear. I also was impressed with their selection from inexpensive to high-​end items. If I’m not sure about something, they’re more than happy to answer my questions and offer a suggestion.

this is the shop I wanted to check out when I got to toronto and after getting tattooed over at the Okey doke tattoo shop, wanted to even more they had nothing but good things to say, shop was full for rad stuff wish I wasn’t on a budget family trip so I could pick up more things oh well there is always next time only thing i wished they had more american motorcycle related stuff but I guess thats a pretty over saturated market already.
on another note staff was super friendly and fun to talk with

I’m not big into motorcycles, but my man is. We stumbled upon this shop on a Friday night when there was a motorcycle gathering they happened to be hosting. We talked to super nice folks inside. The people and the price points were approachable. Even if you don’t need motorcycle gear, you can find something you like here. Great selection for things you can use for more than just cycling. Well edited inventory.

Was hoping they’d have a larger women’s section, but what they do have is a good selection of jackets, boots and gloves that are good for the urban motorcycle rider.
The staff was more than happy to look up other options for enduro/​dual sport boots and they get 5 stars for having women who work here that know what the fu*k is up and what they’re talking about and being partly women owned (I think?). Wish NYC had a store as good as this.
