Turquoise

I absolutely love this store. It carries brands such as Guess, Foxy Jeans, Kathy Van Zeeland, Parasuco. but what I really love are the lesser-​known, usually even higher-​quality brands that the owners personally shop around for and bring in to the store. The owner and all of the staff are just amazing. They are so helpful. They will be honest and let you know if something doesn’t look good on you (which I really appreciate, since I usually shop alone). Every once in a while you can catch a great sale here — though I do find them quite reasonably priced to begin with.
This is going to sound odd, but there is a faint vanilla scent in this store that smells absolutely amazing. It isn’t overwhelming, so those with sensitive noses need not worry.
Now for the sad part. This location is closing down. Good news is, there is apparently another location in Bayview Village, so I will make the trek out here to support Turquoise.
This is truly the only store I don’t mind shopping in. I actually hate clothes-​shopping due to pushy salespeople, messy change rooms, and just the whole bother of trying stuff on. At Turqoise, I feel comfortable enough to take my time and I always come home with something new.
