Historique

Fondé en 1969.

Prior to 1969, Mel Ing worked as a Commercial Sales Representative for Consumer’s Gas during the last 3 of his 10 years, heading up the Air Conditioning division, which was just in its infancy and growing fast. Seizing the opportunity, Mel decided it was his time to make a change. Capitalizing on his years of knowledge and entrepreneurship, Mel built a heating and air conditioning business with two partners. While it developed, Mel sought to grow the business and move in a different direction and decided to branch out on his own. In 1969 World of Comfort Ltd. was born. Established in Pickering for 10 years, it moved to Toronto to become more central to the GTA. Today Mel can be seen every day at his World of Comfort «shop» at 2556 St. Clair Ave. W. accompanied by his son, Tim. Together they are making World of Comfort a leading edge heating and cooling company. World of Comfort prides itself on the care they provide to their customers.
