I am a frequent customer of this store as I live nearby. The cashier has serious issues, and he takes it out on the customers. I went in to buy beer over the holidays and was spoken down to, I had to take my business elsewhere that night, and have done so since. My friends who also live in the area have had similar experiences there with the same guy. The management needs to reconsider who looks after his store when he is not around because this guy is scaring regular customers away.

Yes, I went in here once. New Year’s Day… figured it would be pricey, but wanted a 6 pack. More than double the government liquor store price and not even cold. I would have left without purchase, but it was New Year’s Day and I wasn’t going to go driving around to save $ 5. Ha ha ha. I won’t be heading back ever. Seems like a shifty place anyways.

I have never took time out of my own life to search a for a business online and write a poor review. Therefore I am not the type to person to do so to receive any freebies, future discounts or getting an employee fired as I have worked in retail myself almost my entire life and I know how it is to deal with the wrong ignorant customer. Having said that I also know how it you should treat ones who return on a regular basis. Today was my 3rd or 4th visit to Apex within the week and on and off have been going there for several years. With this one particular employee whom I do not feel the need to describe or publicly humiliate, I am asked to produce ID every single time. I am positive that it is not only my opinion that unless you are a nightclub or Financial Institution where it is mandatory to have your ID scanned regardless of your status or relationship with the Establishment, in any other circumstance I find it an insult to treat regular paying customers in this manner. I could name more than a handful of gas stations located on the same street where I buy tobacco on a regular basis and have never once been treated how I was treated today. If management or owners should come upon this review I recommend you review your store video tape if I may be dramatic or exaggerating in any way. I did not use any profanity yet was given grief for the reaction to this displeasing service. I am unsure how far back your store footage can go but I am 33 years old and if you had the opportunity to look back as far as mid to late September you will see footage of another customer and myself at the till at the same with this particular employee and the customer beside me whom can easily be identified as in his mid 40’s himself is asked to produce ID, he turns my way and jus nods his head in disbelief. I don’t need to prove to anyone that I understand the struggles of being in retail. But if you can not even remember who your regular good paying customers are then how is that my problem? Its common sense. If you hate your job take a break its that simple.
