One star. So I came here with a group and was hoping to grab a bite before watching Zoolander 2. I was excited at the fact that I was going to have PIZZAAAA at Boston PIZAAAA. BUT alas, nope. The oven was mother mother broken. Broken? Say who now? So let’s get the quesadillas. Nope that requires and OVEN. A burger? Usually sure. What? You only have three burger flavours and 0⁄40 pizzas tonight and my movie is in 45 minutes? A+ for location F for oven being broken

I ordered pizza last Sunday night. The food was warm and delicious. The driver wearing the hat was speedy and rather cute. I will order again.

I went here because it was close. against my own better judgement… service is great hence the one star… the food is terrible. the pizza is terrible… and waaaaay overpriced… it sort of like a bar that serves airplane food…

Just awful. I had a waiter argue with me that gluten free pasta cooked in normal pasta water is absolutely fine(he learned it during his training!), which, really… isn’t fine. I don’t know, I don’t really want to debate this, you don’t live with it and maybe you should listen to your customers. Additionally, aside from the pizzas, no one ate their food and said it was inedible. When we got our bills, we were charged for things that we didn’t even order, and had to argue to get it taken off. I don’t know how this place stays in business, maybe it’s the location.

This location’s service is better than the Stadium location, even though I like the Stadium location décor better.

I had a family member who worked at a BP’s years ago and he told me about how their food(pasta sauces, etc.) was often frozen from a bag, so I don’t know how friends keep convincing me to go there. But, we went for UFC(Rousey-Holm) as a friend had reserved a table. The only edible thing they have is pizza, unless you splurge for a steak etc. The pizza is pretty good for sure, but it’s easy to find better. However, others in our party were less fortunate. Chicken penne that looked like Michelina’s; an over oiled, over cooked(burnt black) quesadilla that had to be sent back; and chicken bites that literally looked like they came from a 7-eleven display case from down the street, and couldn’t be eaten. We had one no-show and some people leave(feeling ill from the food) so had spots at our table that the staff would not fill with guests milling around the door even though we told them a few times. The staff were busy, and worked hard, but would oddly come and take empty glasses without asking if anyone needed more drinks. We had to call«wait, hold on!» numerous times and flag them down. The fight was great obviously and the screen was big. Our bill came quickly which was nice for a large party. But the main take away for the entire group was how simply bad most of the food was. For those there who weren’t fight fans and came with partners it was a terrible experience. So we’ve taken a vow ~ No more Boston Pizza!!! Ps. that same friend was told that this BPs won’t reserve UFC tables because people complained. Hey, we offered spots numerous times!

a nice place with good food i dont give them all the five stars, bcoz 1. the staff are really into getting tips even if you are students they really make you feel that you have to pay so much tips and once we reserved it for 8 people they automatically added 20% tip to our bills i mean if its a tip then why do u force people to pay it without asking for their permision wether they actually want to pay 20% tip?! i dont really mind paying tips for 20% or whatever but i dont think this is nice to force people to pay tips and tell them how much they have to pay for the tip! 2. they try to be so economical for example for tuscon pizza, you dont actually see that much chicken on it. i saw in some other pizza shops they put more chicken on their pizzas 3.oce we ordered desert and i think that night they didnt have enough ice cream so they put ice cream like one spoon or something that wasnt pleasent for me i think its better to say we dont have enough ice cream insead of just serving it with measuring the mass and the volume of the icecream to save more icecream for next orders! i feel that was such a cheap act that a restaraunt could do! … But in general, i like this place and the taste of their food. i recommened you to try it.

For my first experience there it was very lovely. It was a pretty cold day and it felt nice and toasty inside which was nice. Definitely felt very comfortable. The tvs can be annoying if you are sitting right in front of them. Very nice place and clean overall. Food was good and the waitress was very nice.

Never again. Not even deserving of 1 star. This location is relatively recent and upon first glance walking by, looks promising. It is also in a great location. However, first-glance impressions were WAY off the mark. On closer inspection… We were a large group who came in the early afternoon. There were only a couple other tables seated, but we noticed A LOT of dirty dishes and garbage on empty tables. This trash remained there the duration of our LONG lunch… Ambiance and Cleanliness — disgusting. Sure the TVs are big and show sporting events, but that’s it. Dirty tables(see above). There was a hole in the back wall. Decorations were random and done poorly. Bathrooms — DISGUSTING! They had the quality of a bar-toilet just before closing time — toilet paper everywhere, sticky floor, broken fixings. They say you can tell a lot about a restaurant by how their bathroom is. Because of how filthy it was, I shudder to think about what the kitchen was like. Service — slower than anything I’ve encountered before. Everything took so long — putting in an order, the food, getting drinks, etc. ONE of the servers tried to smile and be friendly, although she seemed oblivious to the extreme slow-pace. I understand slow service when a place is busy and understaffed — but this place? There was practically NOONETHEREEXCEPTUS!!! There was this other waitress who was a complete bitch. We needed extra utensils — as we were a big group. There were 6 sets of utensils needed. After a long time, this other bitch came to our table with a look of death and slammed 3 forks and 4 knives down on the table and walked away. What? Who did she think she was? Of course, it took FOREVER to get more forks. I felt like digging around in the kitchen myself to get them. Food — everyone was totally underwhelmed by the food. I mean, it’s Boston Pizza — we were not expecting gourmet. But some of the stuff was just mush. However, to be fair, I myself did not eat ANYTHING here so cannot personally comment. I have a sensitive stomach and after seeing the disgusting toilets, I lost my appetite. There was no way I was going to risk getting sick. I didn’t even bother to eat one French Fry. So in summary, don’t go here. It amazes me that such a disgusting establishment remains open. I hope its days are numbered and another establishment arrives at this great location. Most who eat here once will not return. I hope the influx of unsuspecting tourists does not keep this place alive. Read the reviews before dining. Go to Earl’s across the street, Tim Horton’s a little further down, the IGA grocery store closeby — anywhere but here.

Nope. Never ever again at this location… We wait. And and and wait… Then the waitress told us… That most of the table need to be cleared… Yeah we noticed-it… But no ones knew how many time it could take… The patio was EMPTY and no one was taking care of it… It was Sunday evening around 8h30pm… The lights was too bright… And it was so hot inside… We was party of four… So we end up at the one on Beatty St. AMEN to that… Got seat on da patio… Beer and food came out super quick. Happy ending… But real turn-off on Howe St… Never forget.

Food at this place is SOBAD, even for Vancouver bloated/hyped standards… Small pizzas, tasteless sauce, very few ingredients, awful sangria… Next time I crave pizza I’ll go for a slice at any of the seedy places on Granville St., they at least have chili flakes and some times even hot sauce to add some flavor…

Great patio downtown. Went with coworkers for lunch. Tons of tvs inside if you want to watch the game. Food was typical Boston pizza. Only thing was that for a table of 11, all of our food came out over a 15 minute span. The salads were the last to arrive! Overall a nice patio in the middle of downtown. Close to the law courts for easy parking.

I love Boston Pizza so it brings me disappointment to write this but the staff are unbelievably rude. The restaurant was almost empty and there was a line of customers lining up outside of the door due to their unorganized management. One of the servers shrugged and budged by us as if we were wasting her time by coming here. Once we were finally seated, our table was not clean. We had to kindly ask the waitress to wipe down our table which she quickly did so. We then had to ask for some water, she came and left the glasses along with a bottle of water, didn’t look at us at all, turned around and walked away.

Disgusting. I’ve been to Boston Pizza a few times so I’m not sure what I expected. The food is always mediocre at best. I was looking for an affordable place to grab a quick dinner with my family downtown. I ordered Nachos since it’s pretty hard to mess up such a simple dish. We all got our orders… Chicken wings were very dry but edible, dry ribs were okay but tasted a little weird, chicken Caesar salad seemed okay. The nachos though. How do you screw this up? The sour cream was curdled. Part of it was yellow. I called the waiter and told him I didn’t want them because the sour cream was bad. It looked like cottage cheese… Grooooosssss. Anyway, the server was nice about(although, maybe should have caught that before it hit our table), so I tipped and left with an empty stomach. I’ll never go back to BP again. I never seem to learn.

One big mess. Inattentive service, was seated in the patio which was ¾ full. Servers had their hands full, there was order mix ups on the tables next to us. After 15 minutes of waiting for to GIVE a drink order, we left and went to the pizza shot across the street.

Did not exceed expectations. Got what we ordered. Kinda boring. Server didn’t really engage. Water was empty and never refilled. Server never checked on us or asked how everything was. Wait time was 20 mins for one pizza and one burger. So basically everything was pretty boring average. Server kinda sucked.

This is probably one of the newer BP locations. I’ve been here a couple of times. It previously was a Japanese restaurant(twice) and a Chinese restaurant before that. The renovations were nicely done and is relatively spacious. Great place for drinks imho. However, where it does fall short unfortunately is the quality of the food. Had the NY steak today, medium rare. The meat was very tough. I’ve also had the pizza burger in the past and let’s just say I wouldn’t order that again either. Anyway, service was good and food also came out quickly. I wouldn’t come here regularly, but may still stop by once in a while mainly due to its location.

Bad service bad pizza We ordered pizza and salad to our hotel room for a movie nite and even though it was recommended by the concierge Boston Pizza turned out to be a disaster. Cold dry pizza with anemic sliced tomatoes and raw peppers and onion was their version of a «vegetarian«pizza the saving grace was the large Greek Salad we ordered for 3 but they didn’t send plates and only one fork! Sorry for 54.00 I expect more. At least change your name and don’t embarrass Boston. We warned the hotel concierge not to recommend this place to Anyone else

Came here for lunch on a Friday. Figured that I would give the restaurant a few weeks to iron out any issues. Made a reservation and when we got there, they didn’t give the table I requested… eventhough they weren’t full. Our food of the lunch menu took approx 30mins to arrive. Not sure why but when asked, I was told that there were other orders ahead of our group. Then I thought, this is a lunch rush on a Friday afternoon! You’d think they would have more staff! Anyways, food finally arrived and it was tasty. I ordered the half beef dip with caesar salad. The beef dip was pretty good but the salad lacked flavor. If I had a choice, I would go to Earls across the street. Service was slow and I don’t want to take a 90min lunch.

4 stars for a Boston Pizza? Yes, for the reason that BP has upped its game in downtown Vancouver by opening up in two locations that really needed a boost; near BC Place and the Scotiabank Theatre. Smart moves, looking for the film and sport crowds. This BP on Howe and Smithe replaces a succession of crappy, overpriced, sushi joints that went before it. It brings with it a consumer choice as well as competition to Earls and The Winking Judge, the staples of this spot. An ideal hockey spot(which is take it or leave it for me depending on my mood) with a GINORMOUS big screen TV(see photo). The bar itself is new and clean, and while BP is pretty expensive for suburban strip mall food, what you get is of decent quality, and you’re very unlikely to leave feeling hungry. On Pasta Tuesday my girlfriend and I had two huge plates of pretty tasty pasta, plus drinks, for under $ 30(inc tax and tip!). There’s also a small, but decent, selection of crafts on draft.
