Pretty decent coffee. The location is quite convenient for the people working in the nearby offices which explains the type of crowd that visits the place. It was very warm and stuffy when I was there. There was also a queue which cleared up pretty quickly as their service was pretty quick. The bad thing about this place is that there is no free wifi which is quite a bummer if you’re looking to do some work there. I would suggest getting a drink and leaving as the space is quite limited.

The Spanish latte here is top notch. Rich & aromatic in taste! Latte art ranges from amazing to blah; it’s kinda hit or miss depending on who’s pouring. But the main thing is that the quality of the coffee here is definitely on point!

My friend got me introduced to Artigiano’s coffee and I’ve been a big fan ever since. This is cozy and fancy coffee shop serves delicious coffee. I always get their Caramel Macchiato or just Iced Spanish Latte. At the same time I got my folks liking this shop as well. Later on they became as Aritigiano fans like myself. Their coffee has good balance of sweetness and this location also offers water fountain if you ever get thirsty. You’ll love this place.

Great coffee! Good looking sandwiches though I’ve never tried any. They don’t have almond milk. common — this is Vancouver!

For a very creamy and light expresso drink go for the Spanish Latte. The butter croissants are soft and fresh. I would give 5 stars but no wifi is available here l.

Coffee is gross. Don’t come here for meetings or to socialize cause the staff never stop clowning around and acting like kids. One girl has a laugh that is so loud it trumps all conversation and the music. The location on Hornby by the Art Gallery is much better atmosphere wise. Staff aren’t clowns and talking so much to one another.

Great coffee, I’ve always been impressed with this locations. Fairly priced given downtown vancouver. But the baristas have some serious aggression. It was pretty unsettling. There was one barista who announced that my first card was declined in an awkwardly loud voice to the point where people were staring. Which is okay, but when he ended up making a different drink to the one I ordered, gave me pretty rude tone and remade it. I was nice throughout and it reflected on him at the end, but bare in mind that I was the customer. At the end of the day though, it was great coffee at a fair price and the ambiance and location are excellent.

The good: Nice décor, Classy jazz music. Has all the makings of a good relaxing enviro. The Bad: Burnt cappuccino. No barrista froth decoration, Slightly pricer given the size of cup, compared to others in the area. You literally will be done in 3 sips. No Wifi. Closes Early. Was disappointing overall, so with caffeine already in my belly I went… A block down to Waves Coffee House. They have better more consistent capps/lattes(been here 3 times already). Bigger cup sizes for the money. Unique flavors like Lavender. Barrista froth for added attention to detail. They even have nice touches like including a dark chocolate square with your order. And they have Wifi for me to post this review, and are open later to boot. Big windows to peer out into the street. Go to Artigiano for the décor. Go to Waves for the Coffee.

I’m Australian and the one thing we do well at home is make coffee. Lattes in Australia are creamy and frothy and the coffee is almost never bitter. This is something I have to search high and low for her. So when I’m in the mood for a really decent latte I know that Artigiano is the place to go. The coffee is fantastic. I’m a soy drinker and I find that soy milk can taste really wrong at some coffee shops, but here I barely notice the difference. The only reason I knocked them down to a four star is because their muffins aren’t overly fresh. I tried one the other day and it tasted like it might have been a day old.

Spanish latte was killer, perfectly balanced sweet/bitter, needed no sugar and the foam was delicate. They do a good pull here and have a sign clearly noting that if you’re ever dissatisfied with a dopio or espresso macchiato that they’ll repull it for you no questions asked. My only complaints: — it was damn noisy in there! Some acoustic material on the ceiling/walls would be incredibly helpful — the biscoti was a bit soft, and I’m a fan of a nice, crisp biscoti for dipping Otherwise, super friendly service and a great cup in a great location!

A Spanish latte always hits the spot! Their pain au chocolat is light and fluffy!

Meh. This caffe is so-so. I had a mocha which was pretty good. A nice dark chocolate flavor, but the coffee was a bit overdone so there was a bit too much of a char flavor for my liking. The layout of seating in the store is pretty bad, too. Why would you have a table of two surrounded completely by a ring of other tables? It made for trying to get in and out of our tables really difficult when the store was even a third empty, because there was no space to even move between tables.

We were staying at a Hotel in Coal Harbour and I wanted to find the Best Latte in Vancouver. This is the store of 2012 Canadian Western Regional Barista Top 3 Finisher Alan Vuong. The Baista that poured my Latte is trained by Vuong, and it was a perfect pour. The Latte was rich, full body with very little acidity. I left with a 1lb/16 oz/453 g bag of their Private Reserve Espresso Beans. These beans are some of the best I’ve ever purchased. When I tried them out at home on my Espresso Machine, they delivered a dark Crema that is perfect for Lattes.

Was running to the seaport and stopped in quickly to grab an OJ and a muffin to go. Both were okay.

The coffee here always tastes a bit burnt to me, even if the latte art is lovely. But it’s a great place to people watch. I often think it might be a suitable place to «meet» someone – if everyone didn’t seem to be in a meeting, that is. I guess I’m never one of those aforementioned people. I usually sit in the window, which is better for people watching than people-meeting, although the seats aren’t too comfortable. It is one of the only places in the city where you get a true«bustling» feel – something I miss from NY. I don’t «get» why places are opposed to skim milk(and this is one of them). I am sure that there are others out there who prefer the taste of skim. And I’d rather save the milk«calories» for something more decadent like a pastry or ice cream. I usually come here around 4 pm when it’s less busy, and the staff is always fine with me, so I’m surprised to hear about the negative reviews. It certainly has a warmer feel than the SB across the street(and I’m a huge SB fan.) So when in the area, this is a great place to stop for a latte and maybe even a scone or muffin.

One of my favorite locations for this new dominant chain of coffee places. The one-up on Starbucks in terms of quality and taste I frequently come to their coffee first if any of the locations are near where I am going for a good wake up call! This is one of those locations in the morning on a work day I can stop my car, as there is parking in front, and run in to get my java fix. The staff are friendly and fast at serving you, knowing this is downtown and knowing that you gotta get somewhere and fast. The place does have enough sitting if you are willing to slow yourself down and enjoy a coffee, served in a non paper cup if you choose. There is this one table outside on a nice day if you also would venture outside.

Vent incoming… If you carry a muffin called Cranberry Oatmeal it should contain more than 2 decorative cranberries on the top. Otherwise, you should perhaps change the order and call it an Oatmeal cranberry muffin? Or actually just Oatmeal muffin would be more appropriate. Oatmeal and friends even. But please stop trying to sell this as having any real fruit action in it. It’s called false advertising. And at 8am, I am NOT in the mood. Since Artigiano got taken over by the Earls group of restos I have seen a drastic downfall in the quality of food. Not only at this location but at Hornby too. I have also had reeeeeeeally bad coffee. Which is shocking because not too long ago this used to be one of my favourite spots. Perhaps it is time to remove one of those«f“s from your name… the Italians want it back.

Came here for a meeting, and tried their iced latte. It was pretty good. This place had a ridiculous lineup(spilling out the front), even at 1500 on a Thursday. Fortunately, the staff knew what they were doing and operated like clockwork. The atmosphere was definite a bit too busy, as there are too many tables inside. You have to bump 5 other people to get your table. The coffee is good, but personally I would try for another location if possible.

While I’ve been to plenty Italian Cafes back home on the East coast, this is the first Café that features the Italian/Euro setting the most in Vancouver. Mentally stepping inside I also had that false pretense to expect an Italian Bold Roast as typical of Italian Espresso Beverages. The Cappuccino while having more unique of a flavour profile than the ones I’m normally offered, which by the way is a good thing, I didn’t quite enjoy it as much simply because it was lacking that UMPH even when compared to other North American Cafes. What bothered me most was that I had a zillion little voices in my head while simply just trying to enjoy my Beverage. All the suits surrounding me intensified their conversation making this more like an after-work Pub rather than a Café. Do NOT come here if you have a Headache. Do NOT come here if you need a quiet place to think. Do NOT come here if you want to relax. There’s plenty of regular local Office Workers to keep this place filled.
