Mario R.

Gérant de commerce

Mario’s love of food, drink and atmosphere comes from his picturesque upbringing in Italy – from the frenzied caffes of Rome to the quiet charms of the rustic countryside.

Mario’s «education» was authentic and wholesome. Like his famed double espresso, Mario draws inspiration from what he calls his «double life.» Born in the capital city, Mario was surrounded with the cuisine and excitement of the renowned Italian culture from day 1. Yet he also resided at a nearby bucolic farm, where he lived and breathed the farmer’s life. Thus, whether it was living a young man’s dreams in the streets of Rome or discovering Italy’s pastoral lands, Mario’s education was rich in culture and strong in taste.

Luckily for Canada, Mario fell in love in Rome (who doesn’t?) and then made his way to Vancouver as a young, ambitious man. He has been here since – and has brought Italy with him.
