First thing I see— bacon cheese burger $ 13.99 with lager. Second I notice is the Wings on special. It’s also a bar! Frequented by a diverse group. Come and dine with generally affordable food like Pasta’s and comfy food. This place has been here for years.(not sure if they’re the original owners) and you won’t get surprises eating and or drinking here. If you look at some of the older reviews like Mike P’s There is a point to existence for this place. It’s all about the neighbourood and good deals on the drinks and food. No Frills. I gotta get back here for another meal. Service is ok. Food is ok. but I’m giving it a Yay I’m a Fan rating. Don’t ask me why. It’s just something you get a feeling for or don’t. Typos’s writted free of charges. Me likey the wings.

Great food in a pub lacking identity. The service was a little slow and we were one of two tables in the space. It truly was a minor issue though. The steak was delicious and one option came with bacon wrapped scallops for $ 18. Nachos come in a huge portion — one should definitely share with friend(s). Guacamole came with it at no extra charge. However, refills on soda are not free.

Cheap beer specials and their fries+Mayo dip combo = you’ll turn into a whale but that fine because it’s great XD

We ate here twice during our brief stay in Vancouver. It was walking distance from our hotel, and the food was tasty and reasonable. We scarfed down the Three Cheese Nachos and a couple of beers on the first visit. Loved the thin chips, real melted cheese, and jalapenos. The guacamole was okay… looked like the stuff you can buy at the grocery store. Came back with friends for dinner, and they kindly accommodated our under the weather friend with a plain grilled chicken breast and plate of rice. I didn’t get to taste our other friend’s brie and avocado grilled sandwich because he was enjoying it too much to share, but it looked wonderful, and I’ll take his word for it that it was. My husband and I shared the beef burger. It came with bacon strips, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Good stuff! The fries were crispy and delicious. The servers were friendly.

This is a great little nook on Robson Street. The atmosphere is friendly, the food is quite good, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s a perfect place to catch a Canucks game or just to stop and have a drink on a summer evening. My personal favourite dish is the curry.

We come here regularly for breakfast because the food is good and cheap however the service isn’t amazing. They are always understaffed and therefore it takes forever to even get a coffee refilled. Thank god for $ 7 breakfasts …

From out of town. Looking for breakfast at 11am on a Friday. Found this place while walking down Robson St. Enjoyed the $ 7 breakfast special that got me: eggs, toast, sausage and hash browns. Everything was delicious and you couldn’t beat that price for a good portion of food. My boyfriend fog the croissant and was satisfied. He was a little upset they forgot his hash browns and he told them right away, but they didn’t come until after we were finished. The coffee was horrible, but I would come back for the breakfast special.

We eat breakfast here almost every weekend. Love it. Service is great now. Food is better. Cozy place.

This place is two blocks away from my house and they have $ 4 beers. Their wings are pretty good. But they cost more if you take them to-go. Side sauce is extra too. Some celery and blue cheese would be nice too(The way every other place that sells wings does it). I’ve had their burger + lager special twice. The burger is good, but very diner-like. The atmosphere is cozy, large TVs showing sports, couple of booths, couple of dining tables.

Coco Rico offers tasty food for the price, but unfortunately the bar is totally lacking in atmosphere and identity. I’d recommend this place if you’re on Robson and looking for a cheap bite to eat. The salads and sandwiches are $ 10 or less and hit the spot. The breakfast is particularly nice — pancakes and a fresh fruit salad for around $ 8. The breakfast special is even cheaper and deserves a good rating in its price category. Sadly, the only draft beer comes from Granville Island. The martinis I’ve had here were quite good, but these and the wine are overpriced for a café bar with no personality. Some rebranding, more beers, and work on the atmosphere could help this place with its reputation.

Great breakfast! Ordered breakfast special. Delicious toasted multigrain bread! Perfect overeasy eggs! This place is pretty busy with the only one waiter. The restaurant should hire one more waiter.

Horrible service and lousy food. I ordered the veggie pizza and had to ask for a new one after they forgot two of the ingredients(goat cheese and olives). In a moment of good faith, I requested my second pizza to be packed up and didn’t bother to look inside of the box when it was brought to the table… Because really, who screws up pizza twice? I was a little disappointed to say the least when I got home and opened the box to reveal a soggy pizza that was covered in feta cheese. NOTE: Don’t order anything with goat cheese in the description. You will not get it. Bonus if you like feta cheese! They also charged an additional $ 1 for each flavor of sauce on the wings that we ordered. I have never seen that in my life. There was no mention of it in the menu, nor did the waitress tell us. Alongside the hidden sauce charges and the lack of ingredient/basic cheese knowledge amongst staff, the waitresses were lazy and rude. One of them actually sat down at the table next to ours and ate food with one of the kitchen staff, failing to refill drinks, clear the dishes, or do her job in general. We were polite about all of our inquiries and patient with the slow service, and for that, we received a complimentary eyeball roll. Terrible experience. Don’t even consider it,

Came her for brunch because I live close by. Liked it! Food was decent(7 for a breakfast) but prices were standard not cheap not expensive. Drinks were kinda what got me. I might be back for their $ 11 pitcher and then update my review then.

this small bar is a hole in the wall, decent and affordable, with an always changing rotation of pleasant waitresses on temporary stay. Bonus that it’s located a block from my place, and the regulars will always know my name and are always glad I came. The cook however seems a little disorganized(15 minutes for a pizza!) but competent.

It was the closest place to my hotel that was offering the kind of breakfast I was looking for-streaky bacon, scrambled eggs and non-stop coffee, which in itself is 3 stars. While there was nothing particularly special about the eggs or the coffee, the service was very good, there was free wifi, the aforementioned bottomless coffee and the price of my breakfast was right. I made the mistake of going elsewhere on my second morning. that was a faux pas…

The server was really friendly but couldn’t answer my questions about the menu(have a serious peach allergy so I have to be careful with breakfast foods). The décor is outdated & the radio station was cheesy, so it didn’t create a nice atmosphere. The saving grace was how good my Belgian waffle was. Not quite the same as the ones I had in Brussels, but the best I’ve had in Canada so far. I’d come back here because it’s close to my hotel, inexpensive and yummy.

Stopped in around 4:00pm on a rainy day. Had a decent drink special and good food. Nice patio and good selection of beer and liquor. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Nice restaurant to go to instead of Korean restaurants that are in this area.

We needed lunch quick, and this was the first thing we passed that wasn’t crowded. Actually, there was no one. I got some kind of non memorable panini with ham, cheese, and veggies. It was ok but nothing good. The waitress was good enough. But I would only come here to drink in the future. Decent looking full bar.

Good place for a pitcher and wings Atmosphere isn’t the best. but it’s cozy, little place for a drink Patio is good for warm, summer days. much better option than the bar opposite the street.
