I went to Crescent for an acrylic nail fill and had a great experience. Kelly did a wonderful job on my nails. She was very meticulous while shaping them and ensuring they were all even. She was also very sweet! Definitely coming back here. The best salon I have been to in Vancouver!

I went here 2 weeks ago with some friends for mani/​pedis and am really happy with the results. I had deluxe pedi and shellac mani.
The girl who did my pedi was really good, I think her name was Le, she gave a great foot/​leg massage! They also have those big massaging chairs for you to sit in while you get a pedi. Then a different girl painted my toe nails and did the shellac mani, I think her name was Jessica. I’m really picky about the shape of my nails and I really like how they look, even today. They also have tons of shellac colours to chose from.
The shellac polish started to lift off a bit on 2 of my finger nails the next day so I called to see if they could fix it. I got an appointment the next day and the girl who redid those nails was so great about it. She also put another coat on top of all the other nails too. She took the time to really check all the other nails to make sure they were good. I wanted to leave a tip because they were so great about fixing my nails but they didn’t even accept it.

All the employees at Crescent are super friendly, accommodating and really great at what they do.
The interior is really lovely and clean. They have massage chairs and a station to charge your phone (for free)
All of the tools had come out of a sanitizing machine and there’s a huge selection of nail polish to choose from.
The massages that came along with the deluxe mani/​pedi were great, so was the paraffin. My hands and feet look great!
I’ll definitely be back. :)

Couldn’t be happier about my first nail experience. Natalie was patient with all my requests, and the nails lasted well over my expectations. They felt natural, strong, and they looked amazing. The shaping was perfect and she was extremely professional. Will definitely be coming back!

Crescent nails is a very solid entry for mani-​pedis in the city. I’ve been twice, the first time for UV/​gel mani-​pedi and today I was there for a standard pedicure. Their price point is very reasonable and in terms of the quality it ends up being very good value. The tools and salon are very clean (an extremely underrated quality for a nail salon), the employees are friendly and professional and the massage chairs are… da bomb. They’re also very good at accommodating last minute bookings (I called 20 minutes before I arrived and they were able to fit us in (with no wait).

This nail spa was terrific. The ladies are all very friendly. Went to it b/​c of Unilocal reviews & its convenient location. Had to take my young daughter with me. Appreciated how special they made her feel & even did her nails. Hannah did my pedicure. One of the best I’ve had in years. Still admiring my toes.

Came here to get UV gel nail extensions and loved the result! We had to wait a bit due to us being late but they were very kind! They gave my friend and I exactly what we wanted and we are so in love and will def come back again! The workers are also all very nice and wouldn’t talk gossip to other in front of us. They are funny and very helpful!

My friend referred me to this salon. The service at this salon is friendly, courteous, polite and funny! Thank you to all the staff for making me feel welcome with tea, a lovely massage chair, wonderful foot bath soak and mani pedi that was done perfectly! The ladies asked me what I liked in shape and colour and made sure to check in with me to ensure I was satisfied. The owner of the shop even kept an eye on my car and paid extra parking time with my money, as did another lady. Excellent service! This was my first visit and it was for my wedding mani/​pedi so Im very very pleased with the outcome on such a special occassion! I’ll be back again for sure!

I got my nails done by Sheila, she is pretty nice and did a great job! I showed her what I wanted and she gave me some suggestions. The place is not too fancy but the service and the staff is really good. The price is reasonable for what you get!

I love it here! Natalie does my nails and I’m happy to have found someone I’m comfortable with and trust to do a great job on my nails here in Vancouver. She’s really knowledgable and consistent, and does an amazing job shaping my nails. The prices are great too! I’ll be coming here for all my nail related needs in the future.

So here’s the thing. I actually don’t like getting my nails done as it’s such a time consuming process. I had a few hours in between meetings and was in desperate need of nail care. When I called they said they would fit me in if I came in the next ten minutes. To my dismay, I had to wait 35 min because they were short staffed. I could have easily walked away feeling displeased but I’m glad I was über patient. Natalie? Was wonderful. Paid attention to detail, was very apologetic and very friendly. She even made sure to rush without cutting corners as she knew I was running late. If you want a place where they do a good job despite time constraints it’s the place for you. Like most nail places, don’t be disappointed if things get delayed!

I have been going here for the last couple of years & until recently, I always had a good experience. The last time was horrible.
I called to inquire if I could get a full mani pedi done in an hour. I was told a firm yes. I showed up on time in the middle of the afternoon 20 minutes later. They were not busy at all. I was the only customer there.
It was obvious to me that the girl assigned to me with inexperienced and new at doing nails. I budgeted an hour and a little more to get my nails done and I kept asking the girl if she could get my hands and my feet done in an hour. She kept saying yes she’ll get it done, she’ll get it done. Except she didn’t. At the hour mark, she had my feet done and only two of my fingers done. I told her that I only have 10 minutes to spare & she have to get the other fingers done. She kept reassuring me that she’ll get it done, except she didn’t. Long story short I was there for over an hour 25 minutes. she just put on the top coat and I had to run out. Needless to say my fingers were not dry and I smudged it all over my purse, my car seat, and my clothes.
I called the nail salon the next day to express my displeasure for keeping me longer than expected and having a new person do my nails, and my nails ended up getting smudged and getting on all my things. The response I got was indifference & blame. yeah that’s right! they blamed me for not telling them that I was in a hurry; they blamed me for not leaving when I needed it to. I insisted in talking to the owner. I was told the owner was not available until a few days later. so I called a few days later. the owner was still not there and I didn’t get a call back. I ended up calling three times before I was told that the owner finally heard my case and he will give me only 10% off the next time I come for service.
That is just poor customer service all around and I was so disappointed with them. Well I’m going down the street to spoiled nail bar nearby and never going back to cresent nail because They have treated me so poorly & showed such bad attitude.
Really, shame on you!

I went to Crescent based off of reviews and I’m happy I went.
For years I had been going to a nail salon just down the road. It’s a good salon but I never felt really welcomed there, I was treated as more of a number than a client.
Crescent was different from the start. I called to book a Mani/​Pedi for my friends birthday. Right away they were excited to have us come. They mentioned to me that if I wanted I could bring little treats to have while we were getting the treatment done, a nice little touch.
When we walked in they were ready for us. No waiting and no having to seek out who was doing our treatment.
The staff chatted with us the entire time and made being there really fun.
The estetics are beautiful and simple. I love sitting at the bar at the end while my nail dry watching the world go by.

We were looking for nail salon to make up our nails for vacation. I found Crescent nail reviews were good and clean. Just gave it a try.
I have only been here two times and my first visit was quite pleasant but my second visit OK. The nail polish and gel nail color varieties were quite limited.
My 1^st visit, it done by Jenny. She was friendly and gave me some suggestion of styling. She did good job on me.
On my 2^nd visit, wasn’t Jenny. We needed to take off the gel nail and got hurt when the nail technician buffing it. My nails still chipping after a month…

These ladies are great at accommodating walk-​ins — I’ve been a here a few times in the past few months and have never had a problem getting a time slot.
Went in for a gel polish mani/​regular pedi most recently. I was a bit nervous about using other than normal polish on my hands, because the one (and only) time I had a set done my nails were completely destroyed. The nail tech took the time to explain the application and removal. I got a french manicure with coloured tips and they look fantastic — my natural nails somehow look longer and healthier. Pedicure was great too. I generally don’t leave in flip flops (it’s rainy season) so they wrap up my toes with some oil and plastic wrap after about 20 minutes. Even after walking around in socks and sneakers afterwards, my pedi was immaculate with no smudging. Only «meh» point was the massage and scrub — it was a bit light — but that seems standard for nail salons these days in general.
Price point is similar to most salons; I paid around $ 68 (including tax, but excluding tip) for the gel polish french mani and normal pedi. Service is always super friendly and it’s a quiet space — not too busy or loud like other salons.

I came here to get my nails done since my girl at another nail salon is fully booked and need a quick mani pedi.
I think the girl that did both my hand and feet is the manager, although she can be a little rough… her work is very clean and did everything properly. I wish it could be a little bit faster since I was there for over 2.5 hour and I am curious to why they dont have fans to dry regular polish. they only have Uv light for my regular mani pedi…
The employees are friendly and professional, you won’t find them chit chatting about you in another language like other nail salons and they will always ask if you like the color before they painted the rest of your nails and ask if you want a color change.

I came in on a Monday morning for a walk in appointment, the manager and other staff were welcoming and friendly right off the bat. The place looked clean and appropriate for a salon. Certain services were explained to me by the manager, I was ushered into my seat with offers of tea or water. A lineup of both old and new magazines were laid out on the table up front.
I got a mani/​pedi with gel coating – they did not use shellac but OPI’s alternative Axxium (?) I’ve never gotten this type of service done besides the acrylic extension with gel overlay the past years, which I’m quite fed up with since it leaves my nails all weak and crummy. I decided to try this other form of nail service because I’m quite fussy with my hands and really like the look of polished nails.
My nail tech, Jenny, showed me all the gel colors they offered for said service and I chose a purple theme for both hands and feet. The procedure took about an hour and a half, the outcome looks amazing! Very clean and nicely done!
Since I had the whole day to myself, I decided to get a full leg and bikini wax as well as my underarms. It was done by the manager herself, Tran, very nice and professional. She led me to the «waxing room» which was small but had a relaxing vibe. I definitely love the wax they used! Tran explained that it was for sensitive skin and was mainly used for the face. The whole procedure was done well, a few stray hairs which she plucked with tweezers.
I totally recommend this place! Affordable prices for all services, I’m definitely coming back to try out their mani/​pedi combo for only $ 45! :)
