Fondé en 2015.

Co-​owners, Patrick McLaren and Jeffery Cheng, who are also related, started DBox Storage after coming across the idea of valet storage on a trip to Hong Kong. Cheng also owns 6Pack Indoor Beach Centre in Vancouver. Hong Kong is an extremely dense city with 18,000 people per square mile. In a city that redefines what small living spaces means, it was only a matter of time before valet storage would become a successful business venture. That’s when they had a revelatory moment for Vancouver storage.

«When we saw how successful Valet storage is in major metropolitan cities, we couldn’t believe it wasn’t being done in Vancouver,» said Jeffery. «It’s an ideal place for because our population is expanding rapidly and we have nearly the highest amount of condo construction in North America.»
