Best option for burgers in Downtown and they come with free peanuts.
The only problem: they don’t have milkshakes :(

Always great! Never disappointing. I am not a burger person, Is my last choice for «fast food» but I do like homemade ones and this ones taste like just like that!

Came here for lunch yesterday. It was a weekday. Got there around 11:15am for an early lunch and to beat the lunch rush.
Had the bacon cheeseburger and fries. It was about $ 14-$ 15 after taxes. Pretty pricey for a burger joint. But the burgers and fries here are delicious and are piping hot when you get it
They make everything to order here. So you can definitely taste the freshness and hotness when you get it. Which is also the downfall. There was no more than 2 people ahead of me and I easily had to wait a good 7 minutes. I can’t even imagine how long you would have to wait during a rush. Guess you get eat the free peanuts they provide while you wait.
Burgers and fries are definitely delicious. If you compare this place to other fast food burger joints, you might find it difficult to accept the prices here. And if you are in a rush, definitely avoid! Otherwise I will still recommend it!

I haven’t eaten such a horrible burger in my life and the worst level of customer satisfaction. I ordered a cheese burger with my friend it didnt even have letuce and tomatoes but only cheese onions and the burger. They charged me 13.84 for that! And when i went to let them know that the starndard burger as on the menue. They were complete dismissive and didnt even want to here me out. This is very poor customer service.

Tried it again and it was definitely better. The fries weren’t overcooked this time and the Cajun seasoning was good. Burger was greasy and saucy like how I wanted it. Staff were organized and prompt this time. Good job.

The burger and fries taste quite good but I guess just my expectation was too high. I ordered the little size for both the burger and the fries but it was a lot: D You can also grab some free peanuts waiting for your order.

I’m not much of a fast food guy, so rarely hit McDonald’s or places like that, but do occasionally crave a nice burger. I tried this place once in the states and this new location on Robson and I’m hooked. The burgers are fresh, full of fresh ingredients and the cajun fries are the bomb. You gotta try it!

OMG… This sums it up! Best burgers EVER! Can’t believe I’ve never been here before. Burger… AMAZING… Fries… PERFECT… Fountain Drinks… FREE REFILLS and an unlimited supply of peanuts if you fancy them like my guess did.
If you want quality burgers go here as the atmosphere is amazing. Almost that 1960 drive-thru experience without the drive-thru.

So I heard about 5 guys burgers and fries. They are known for their fresh burgers and their over the limit fries capacity.
I ordered their double bacon cheeseburger with cajun fries. As I was waiting for my food, I noticed that they would put the fries basket inside the bag along with the burger and they would just dump the fries inside like as if fries were free. The good thing was that they put the receipt on the bag so that way we would not be tasting ink on our fries.
At first bite, the beef was fresh and the bacon was very crispy all the way through. The fries had enough salt and cajun spices to cover entire salmon to make a cajun salmon dinner. It was very delicious overall, but if they would tone down the salt, I would be happier. (It’s all in the preferences)
+.5 for putting the receipt on the bag.
+.25 star for free peanuts. (Hence they use peanut oil)

The burgers are very tasty and juicy. I order the smaller burger. It is the same size of the other but with 1 less hamburger meat.
One of the best burgers in town
And the free peanuts for while you wait are awesome.

This place has the most awesome fries. I wanted to get another order for walking around fries.
One night our Tuesday Group decided to have dinner here. The burger was okay. I akin it to Fat Burger: order everything and then go sit and wait for them to call you. I got a smaller burger because the difference between the little cheeseburger and the cheeseburger was one patty or two. I opted for just one. The burger was good. Nothing that special… but va-va-voom, the fries were awesome. Perfect fries. We got two orders to share amongst five people, but I felt like I could have eaten the whole container myself. Screw the burger, get the fries.
If you’re into it, there are free peanuts. Meh. The place wasn’t the cleanest… I didn’t really see anyone bussing or cleaning the tables but maybe it was just the time I went.

Tried this for the first time today. Ordered the hamburger. Toppings are free. Burger was huge –2 paddies. Ordered fries which were also very good. They give you a cup and then throw in another scoop in the bag. There are free peanuts on the side that you can eat while waiting for your order. Totally impressed with the burger and fries. Will definitely be back!

Five guys is the rolls of fast food restaurants, it brings something new to the scene in Vancouver!
Seriously for that price you won’t find any better in Vancouver.
I know this is just a fast food but the burger is well made and the fries (please make yourself and favor and take the Cajun fries) bites you back.
That is a proper strong burger you get there. The ultimate fast food experience!

One of the more decent premium burger places in town. So nice that one no longer has to hit the North Shore for one of these things.
Parking here is horrendous, as the establishment is on Robson.
Being a chain, the place looks much like the other locations, with their trademark red and white tiled wall. Of course, there’s also their AYCE peanut buffet. With that said, the interior was pretty dirty. Tables were sticky, and there was trash on the tables.
The burgers are definitely worth a trip out. No need to go all fancy — a regular hamburger with «everything» (toppings) should satisfy most people. Slap on a small order of fries on the side and you’re good to go. The large fries here probably contain 2 – 3 full potatoes, and are best shared among 2 – 4 people.
The washroom is extremely small. Not sure who designed the layout, but one can literally wash one’s hands while sitting on the toilet. Knock 0.5 stars off for this.

Dat burger!
I have walked into five guys once before, but I couldn’t stand the greasy smell of burger and fries, so I ran out immediately. I guess that’s my inner hardcore vancouverite screaming «thou shall eat no fat». However, a few months later, a friend and I decided to split a burger there, so either of us feels guilty about it. Man, that was the best decision ever!!! The burger is not nearly as greasy as I imagined, and it was a double, so I am very glad we shared. The restaurant provides free water and peanuts while you wait for the burger, because it’s all freshly made and it takes time. From a foodie’s point of view, this place is mouthgasm worthy!
