Working as a team, our focus is in treating those with cancer and compromised immune systems, as well digestive and fertility issues. We support the bodies own immune system from cancer diagnosis, during conventional treatment, and well into remission. For fertility support, our goal is to help the body and hormones get back into balance to support growth of a baby.

We offer an experienced and skilled team to help with other issues such as: digestive issues, pain, detox support, weight loss support, mind & body connection/​balancing, women’s health, immune support, facial rejuvenation, and more.

Historique

Fondé en 2010.

Before Gerard opened his own clinic on West Broadway, he worked at Inspire Health, where he helped in the healing process and treatment of cancer patients. Previous to this, he worked at the Tzu Chi Institute of Complementary and Alternative Medicine that was based out of Vancouver General Hospital.

Gerard has been practicing Acupuncture for 28 years and has been focusing on treating patients with cancer since 1986. Lisa Kim and Jackie Thomas have joined Gerards team and also offer Acupuncture support for cancer. Lisa has completed the Memorial Sloan Kettering Acupuncture for Cancer Certificate. Jackie is also a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and offers a wide range of support and knowledge of digestive issues. Clara is also a member of the team and provides Reiki support.

Gerard started his learning journey for wellness in pre-​medicine at The University of Saskatchewan. He later went to San Francisco to study Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine where he graduated in 1986.

Gerard has a diverse background in the field of integrative healing. He studied under Dr. Yu Min Chen, Andrew Tseng, Efrem Korngold and Misha Cohen until 1986, where he further learned how to help people with immune problems like cancer, AIDS, lupus, multiple sclerosis, hepatitis, and others. He has also studied women’s health and fertility with Obstetric Gynecologist Dr. Hsieh.

Gerard has over 28 years experience in using acupuncture to help people with multiple and serious chronic health problems.
