Heartfulness Counselling and Psychotherapy offers you counselling and support because one day we took action upon a deep-​seated dream of ours: creating an authentic counselling service; a safe haven for people to make sense of their chaos and hardships. We knew what we wanted and we ensured that we no longer procrastinated, or pretended that there were other, more important things to do, or shrug off our dream of helping people as certified clinical counsellors with a promise of «someday.» We invested in this practice, even when we were afraid, even when everything else in our lives was riddled with uncertainty. We made a commitment, in spite of the possibility that the whole thing might end up a terrible failure, a fall, a total mess. The result? We believe that we created something authentic and true — Heartfulness Psychotherapy and Counselling!

I often say that I am honored to do this work, but I what does this actually mean? I’ll give an example:

In my sessions with clients I help you feel seen, heard, valued, and safe to open up about what you think, do and feel. I feel humbled when a client says: «I never told anyone this before, but…» At that moment, a miracle happens, I earned the right to hear my clients story. When the client trusts me and the process, we enter sacred territory. And when this happens we take things to a level never before experienced. I listen with an open heart and treat whatever follows like a newborn baby, because that’s exactly what it is. It is valuable, delicate, and an honor to hold. Then a client takes a journey of healing and growth where I serve as a guide.

It’s a privilege to make this journey with people who come to my office. And it will be an honor to make this journey with you.
