Very professional hair removal place
Yes I know this place is a little bit expensive, but the staff are very professional and made me feel comfortable. Since it is more on the expensive side, I would say get one area treated before you decide to get more done. I knew I couldn’t afford it even with the finance plan. Rescheduling and stuff is easy, which is great for me because my schedule changes all the time. My mom gets her facial stuff done there too, and she really enjoys her experiences as well

Unfortunately I naively chose this place to get my laser hair removal treatment and even though they are very expensive, the quality of services i very low.
The nurse there Megan should not be working there; I have been burned twice. Both times she provided the service. Also she doesn’t perform with precision and misses spots (hair) ALL the time. They don’t seem to care much about the experience of the clients either as I have complained multiple times and nothing has happened.
I do not recommend this place AT ALL. Take your money and your asking to some place else

I went in for a complimentary consultation and was greeted by a beautiful consultant. She explained the process, the different hair growth phases, etc. I initially thought she was an RN but turned out she is not. An RN showed up later and takes a quick look at my underarm and said I am good candidate. Now it gets to the pricing… I knew it would be expensive given their location, fresh flowers at their office, etc but never that expensive. For a package of 5 treatments + 4 spot treatments + life time touch up if you need it = almost $ 4000. With the 50% off and same day discount if you sign up right there and then, it still ended up to around $ 1600 + tax. It was way more expensive than I imagined and a lot more than other places I checked out. I told the consultant just that. She answered «I don’t know what people are expecting» referring to the cost. She kept emphasizing the results are permanent, how other salon places are not properly trained and probably don’t even know the different growth phases of hair. When I said I want to think about it, she offered to take off the tax. I felt the process to be quite pushy, kind of like a car salesman. The price is totally inflated for the 50% discount to be applied so people might think «wow, what a great deal!» I didn’t even pay $ 4000 for my laser eye surgery and laser hair removal is no where nearly as complicated as laser eye correction. Bottom line, I don’t think I would recommend the experience unless you have loads of cash.

Very expensive! They locked me in a contract that I have no choice to finish 18 months of payment which is 5 times more expensive than the other place that I went before .be careful there is nothing special there just the attitude!!!

I heard about Ideal Image on the radio so I thought I would give it a try. I went in for a consultation with Giselle and she was nice and very informative. I was really nervous about the whole laser treatment as I heard «stories» but Giselle made me feel so comfortable and relaxed that I had my first treatment that day. I met up with Meagan, one of the nurses at Ideal Imagine and I have to say that Meagan is SO sweet, friendly, bubbly and she knows her stuff. Meagan talked to me through the whole treatment (less than 10 minutes) that I forgot I was getting laser done. I was so impressed with her. I now have had three treatments (all with Meagan) and these guys are SO good and fast. The staff at Ideal Imagine are super nice and very friendly. I like that they always give you a reminder call (cause I always forget about my appointments).
Ideal Imagine is really clean, great location (Vancouver location) and that I can go during my lunch hour. I wish I came here sooner cause when I got waxed it would only last for a month but with laser it last close to three months.
THANKS so much to Giselle, Meagan, Sierra and the staff at Ideal Image. You make getting laser down so comfortable and relaxing it’s like eating a piece of chocolate. Keep up the good work.

I went in for a free consultation. They don’t have anything that other places don’t but they charge 10 times more than other places. They advertise 60% off and they won’t give you a quote on the phone because there is a better chance for them to get you to buy their services once you are in there. After the discount they were still at least twice as expensive as other places. The sales lady tried all kinds of tricks on me: showing me graphs and pictures about how their machines work better than other places and throwing in the word «exclusivity» to make me think what they have is special. Laser hair removal has been around for more than a decade. It’s nothing to be exclusive about anymore. It was quite insulting that she thought I was so dumb to fall for those tricks. I wasn’t born yesterday! When I asked her why they are so much more expensive than other places the sales lady told me it’s because their treatments remove hair permanently whereas other places don’t! This is a lie. I had laser done four years ago, as have many other people I know, and it never grew back (and I had paid less than half of what she quoted).
Bottom line:
This place is ridiculously expensive. Stay away. Shop around. Don’t fall for their claims that their machines are different.

The service is great and I am seeing fantastic results but the treatment is very expensive and you have to commit to a package so that you’re locked in for a certain number of sessions.
There are other places around Vancouver that are cheaper and do not lock you in.

I decided to book a free consult because I heard numerous ads on the Beat 94.5 radio station about receiving up to 70% off. Years ago, I went to the Arbutus Laser Clinic and was very happy with the service and results. I had some hair growth reappear after having two kids, so I wanted to get a quote for removal of those hairs. The ads said that only licensed nurses do the procedures, so I was expecting to meet a nurse, but instead they had a specific person who deals with consultations w patients before procedures. She was really nice but I felt like she wasn’t fully informed about the procedures and I also felt like they should have the person who would be doing the treatment advise you about what would be appropriate treatment. The discount also applies to multiple different treatments — so for example, one body area would be 40% off, then another body area would be 50% off and so on. I found the prices to be very high and a bit inflated so that they could apply the discount. But my true disappointment was that they only had a «general cookie cutter» approach to the treatments. They couldn’t provide me with a plan to remove the «little hairs I had left to remove»…instead, she told me I would have to do the full treatment for thousands of dollars as they didn’t offer any plans that would treat you a few times, or for regrowth areas. Today, I went to Arbutus Laser Clinic and they were absolutely great — I was charged $ 75 to treat three different areas (they charged by time) and the technician said I might not even need a second treatment, so she booked me in and said I could always cancel down the road. Essentially I saved thousands of dollars by just going back to the Arbutus Laser Clinic.
