Made in Print

Awesome service and incredible competitively print pricing.
As someone who prints quite a lit for personal and for work I’d highly advise taking your business to Made in Print over Staples. Cheaper, and way nicer staff (Melanie at the Beatty location is especially helpful).
Colour prints are about half the price of Staples.

Worst print shop I have ever been to. As soon as they were up and running, the manager, and any staff that actually know anything are nowhere to be found. High prices is okay for good service, but the staff disappeared, leaving a $ 10 per hour laborer in the front. I would say just head across the street to printprint. They don’t need to cash in with crazy markups, and boptto of the barrel staff to pay for a mall location.

Both for personal use and for the business I work for (as an admin staff), I really appreciate using Made In Print as my go-​to print place. The staff are so friendly and helpful… unlike most bigger business in Vancouver area these days, they actually are personal and helpful and not just some random staff working for a paycheque but people who are passionate about printing so they care about the little things.

Full disclosure: this review is written one year late. i’m writing this review because i am pissed at MIP.
1) They do NOT honor your requests to remove your email from their mailing lists.
2) My one and only printing experience with them was the WORST ever. Used them to print wedding invitations. Paid in full. Came back on pick up day to find that 90% of the cards with cut crooked and score lines crooked. I mean like, if you folded them, they look ridiculous. I pointed this out to them. They said that, «oh… it’ll never be perfect. No printer can make them perfect» and like all kinds of other excuses. After I lost my shit and behaved in a manner i am embarrassed to admit, they agreed to reprint the cards. Came back to pick up the reprints. They were better. I mean like if you folded them, they don’t line up perfectly, but still slightly off. Since they were for wedding invites and I was not about to have my then wife-​to-​be lose *her* shit over the one thing I was supposed to do, I decided to eat it, and spend beaucoup money some where else. That somewhere else did it RIGHT. But yes… it was a lot more expensive. So MIP=cheap=shit.

This place went above and beyond for me.
Today we’re hosting a big event for a client of ours and I was arranging everything remotely from Los Angeles in order to get everything in time. We needed 1,000 postcards and 200 posters by yesterday afternoon — a tall order that no one else in the area could fill. Michael made sure that everything got done not only on time, but WAY early. But that’s not even the best part.
My team that is over in Vancouver ended up not being able to make it to the store in time to pick up our prints before it closed at noon on Saturday, and not only was the manager easy to reach, he went OUT OF HIS WAY to come back to the store and get us the prints that we needed to actually make this event happen. Amazing speed with the friendliest staff I have EVER worked with. I totally totally totally recommend this place if you want amazing, fast, quality service. Thank you guys so much!

Needed networking cards super-​fast. Got great turnaround and they were kind enough to wait for me to pick up my order before they closed.
One quirk: I emailed them commenting on the their spot gloss options and I wanted to know what kind of press they used and they said they can’t tell me.
I guess I’ll trust that it’s unicorns and fairydust? I’m a fan based on their turnaround, customer service and print quality/​options.

I would love to review based on the printing — but I can’t. First time I was on a deadline so I called up and the girl told me to email the files. She said it’d be done by 4pm. Well at 2pm I received a call saying the printer is broken. I asked if they have only one printer and she said yeah. Then I asked for a recommendation and she didn’t even mention the other locations.
This morning I woke up early to go to get a print done after seeing they’re open on Saturdays. I thought I’d give them one more shot. I wake up early, walk downtown — not open. Even though it clearly says Open at 9am on Saturdays on all of their online profiles). Completely unprofessional.
I then called every other locations — none of them are open… or they aren’t picking up their phone.

I decided to try these guys out on a recommendation from a friend. I printed all of my wedding invitations here and was amazed at the friendly service and knowledgable staff. And my invitations turned out better than what I expected!
I’ll definately be coming back again for my printing needs!

I am a graphic designer so I need a print shop that is truly flexible, knowledgable, and reliable. Made in Print is all of those things. I first contacted them with my print needs and they were very informative and even provided me with options which I thought was fantastic. Initially I was quite surprised with how well organized they were due to the fact that they have just opened up.
When I received my proof and final product, I was very happy with the results of the work. Their digital printer is very clear and had no banding effect. Not to mention that they finished on a very timely manner.
I would definitely use Made in Print again for future works and would suggest this shop to anyone who requires quality service paired quality work.
