We offer Anger Management counselling and groups. We train professionals, and work worldwide on Skype.
Men and women attend our programs because they have realized that their reaction to anger is costing them in their personal and/or professional relationships. After an angry outburst they, and often the people around them, are left feeling confused, embarrassed, frightened, and sometimes even hurt, emotionally and/or physically.
At Moose Anger Management, founded by Alistair Moes (pronounced ‘moose’), anger is not seen as inherently bad. It is far more complex than most people imagine and, in fact, can often lead toward constructive behaviour.
Through attending our groups or one on one or couple counselling you can expect to:
Gain more control over your response when anger arises
Understand the origins of your anger, the effects of abuse, and how to work with it constructively
Hear what has worked for others in similar situations.
Reduce anxiety, increase connections with others and gain compassion.
Develop a clear plan to deal with difficult situations when they arise
We have over 20 years of experience. A common statement made after attending: «I wish I did this years ago». No one ever regrets having attended.

Alistair M.
Gérant de commerce
Alistair has been working professionally as a counsellor/educator since 1989 and in private practice since 1994. During this time Alistair has developed a manner of working with men and women which is respectful, solution-focussed and based on both academic theory and extensive experience. During the last twenty years he has worked with thousands of people who have made the phone call out of a desire to create change. Although he has facilitated court-ordered men, he now works exclusively with self-referred clients, which includes those sent from the workplace, or strongly encouraged by a partner, or even unfortunately sometimes, a lawyer.
Alistair’s approach focuses on the gifts and potential of each person. In this manner «the good» that is present in an individual is attended to, as are the challenges that face each person. Alistair regularly presents workshops to diverse groups from police, to teachers, CRA auditors, to unions or therapists for professional development.
