I don’t know if it’s the best in town like he sign says, but the pizza does the trick and the Indian take aways are awesome. When ordered spicy, you GET spicy so be prepared

Oh my god, this place is the bomb diggity! I discovered it about 3 years ago while I was in school. Veg korma and shahi paneer to die for. I finally tried their pizza and it’s SOOOOOO good! Always fast delivery and great customer service. Love this place!

Review is for the Indian takeout special. Large menu for $ 10.50 take out special. Butter chicken is decent and comes with basmati rice and a few pieces if naan. Quite possibly a meal for two people. Ask for the level of spicy«hot» if you are like me and like medium heat. It’s a pizza joint so don’t expect much ambiance. Best to call ahead even for a dine in.

Had the takeout special. It consists of your choice of curry with rice and naan for 11.50 $ each We tried the butter chicken and the palak paneer. The portion size is good for one large eater, share for two small meals, or for me– dinner and two snacks throughout the next day. I will say that the food is pretty buttery– not creamy. The naan is terrible. I enjoyed rice more and they give you plenty such that you don’t really have to touch the naan. The naan is more like a pita consistency and I’ll end up putting these in the oven and making bread chips. I think other reviewers are right that it’s prob much more worth it to order the curry alone. Make your own rice and eat at home. It’s good. Not great. The consistency of the chicken was just ok for me but my partner enjoyed it a lot and is crazy for butter chicken. The papal paneer was good. The paneer was tasty– not fried tho like at nice Reston. But for the price I got in my cubed cheese craving. I’d just say my tummy hurt a hit after eating but that could have been because a few things. Not necessarily a failure of the food. 3 stars for meeting my expectations for an affordable price. Will try somewhere else next time. Not an automatic repeat for me.

I’m pretty skeptical about pizza joints when they are combined with other cuisines, but somehow it just works at Papa Day’s. Funny enough, I don’t even get pizza here. My family frequently orders the butter chicken. It’s quite delicious! They have a take out special which is $ 10 for butter chicken/palak paneer/shahi paneer/etc, which comes with rice and a piece of naan. It’s not a bad special, but if you have a group of people you’re better off going with a full size order of butter chicken(or whatever you are ordering) and side orders of naan/rice. I like the butter chicken, but not the shahi paneer. Tip: Call ahead to order! They are quite busy with take out orders. If you do a walk in order you’ll probably end up waiting for about 10 – 15 minutes.

Just taking a minute to give another great review of this great pizza place. I last reviewed in June and have ordered another 6 – 12 times since. The quality and taste are quite consistent, nothing new to report. Except that yesterday I called to pre-order a pickup for today(we usually call for a last minute delivery) at 12:00pm and they did it no problem. Add good customer service to the long list of things that make this place great.

Not only are they better than Panago, but Hometown, just several blocks down on E. 57th/54th. It’s fresh and generous portions, but most importantly, not a soggy crust from my experience at Hometown. As long as you don’t expect authenticity in this area, you’re fine ;) Easy place for pickup too(they deliver) as they have their own designated spots in this mini-plaza.

My wife and I decided to finally get take out from this place after passing by the storefront for years. We love Indian cuisine and our go to dishes are usually the palak paneer and shahi paneer with a side of naan. Without expecting too much we were blown away by these two dishes. Definitely one of the best plaves we’ve been to in terms of quality and taste(with lots of paneer too)! The naan is good, but I’ve definitely had better. One cool thing was that when we did the pick up they packaged it in a pizza box for us! Overall awesome food and it’s a place we are definitely working into our ususal rotation.

The butter chicken here is pretty darn fantastic. We crave it every couple of weeks and can’t seem to find a comparable place anywhere near our new location so we keep driving all the way back to our old hood just to get our fix. They do a really good deal where you get butter chicken, rice and naan for $ 10(incl. tax) They also have pizza and a few other items. The pizza was pretty yummy, they make it all fresh which is definitely appreciated. One issue we did have was that we ordered it for pick up, showed up to grab it 20mins later and they’d given it away to someone else. We had to wait another 20mins to get our order. That wasn’t cool but either way, no complaints!

Unknown to me, Papa Dave’s Pizza and Indian Cuisine has been around for quite some time and has quietly been building a loyal following. The small take out restaurant, is located at 6483 Knight St. in a strip mall at the corner of 49th. What customers like as much as the food is the price — unbeatable for pizza and Indian cuisine. Walk in any time and get a medium, one topping pizza for $ 7.99, a large for $ 9.99. If you prefer Indian cuisine you can take away and one of eight items for just $ 8.99 and the price includes rice and naan. You can choose from butter chicken, curry chicken, lamb or goat, three different paneer dishes. There takeout menu includes no less than 29 Indian dishes featuring a chicken, lamb and goat, vegetarian and even seafood specialties. Side dishes are available such as a variety breads(roti, naan and paranthas) rice(biryanis and pulao) and condiments(raita and chutney). You can order one of Papa Dave’s specialty pizzas or create your own by adding any number of two dozen toppings. Prices range depending on size and toppings. There’s also lasagna and spaghetti($ 7.77) and a snacks like Buffalo Wings and salads.

My favorite dish here is the butter chicken. The place claims to have the best butter chicken in town, though I have tasted better. At any rate, this place tastes great, and has decent prices.
