Excellent quality burger for less than 10 bucks, the sweet potatoes fries are pretty good too. The service was fast and friendly. Close to skytrain station, must try.

This is the worst place to eat a burger in Vancouver!!! my girlfriend got sick after eating the mushy vegetarian burger. The bacon cheeseburger was absolutely terrible!!! Don’t go here !!!

Gotta admit the burgers are pretty good. But its pretty pricey. Its like a fast food like place with just a burger at a price range of 10 to $ 15. Pretty good but a bit pricey for a fast food like place. I usually have the big texas. Savory but i can almost go to cactus club instead. And i dont like how they make u tip when its like a fast food place and there is 0 service.

I had the delicious opportunity to try reLish at a recent event and couldn’t be more pleased. the staff(especially Simba) are charming and helpful the location is great and the food was truly reLished. I got to try their Angus Patty and their ground turkey patty with the inspiration toppings of big Texas, the great one and under the Tuscan Sun in each patty. My fave was the Angus as big Texas and although messy it was worth every juicy bite. Now who doesn’t like to start with dessert before the main that’s kind of like the relish sides in relation to the burgers. The mains are amazing but the sides are wowsa! the relish poutine gravy was just right and onion rings and sweet potato fries are a definite can’t put down item. I guess for most folks the most appealing thing may be the fact that you can really custom design what you’re eating with relish — picking your Patty picking your toppings picking your sides and having gluten-free vegetarian and vegan options seem to cover pretty much every need. I will definitely relish going back and trying some of the other must-have’s off the menu namely the Nordique the Jersey City and the Cabo Diablo. Here’s to reLishing the next round!

not to sure why I’m giving two stars but i find it hard to give one star when we did not even try the food. came here for a event last week and there were aprox 40ish people there. we came at 705 and the event was 7 – 9, we promptly found some space right at the corner of the bar and a order a beer and a wine, after about 15 min we started to wonder what the situation for getting food was, 10 min later finally we got hold of a waitress and asked how we get some food, she said we can only make 3 sliders at once and that if you look me straight in the eyes and ask for some i will give it to you. well we looked at her straight in the eyes and asked her for some food any food just some food. so then said that we have to do it when she has food in her hands. so being right at the corner of the bar, which she has to walk past to get to the open kitchen we thought this should be easy, BUT no this was far from easy, every 5 min 3 and only 3 sliders would leave the kitchen and she would head straight past everyone else and go to one table every time, i saw one guy have 3 sliders to himself to my 0 sliders. after a hour of free beer and no food not even fries we left to get a decent burger just up the road a few blocks. why would you put on a event hoping to get good publicity and serve a product that you could not get out of the kitchen in a timely manner. why not throw some sides around, why not make full size burgers and quarter them to ease pressure on the slider station, why have the head chef pouring beers why the rest of the kitchen have there asses hanging out. why have one of the co founders smoozing when he should be behind the bar helping out so the chef can do what he does best. with the few sliders that came out i can say i looked liked we did not miss much. I was noticing on there catering menu it was $ 112.50ish plus tax for 9 people with 3 sliders each and they can only increase the slider amounts in increments of 3. Hahahahah I’m not the only one to say this but my burger is one of the best in the city, guess I’ll be sticking to mine for now.

Good god man, $ 10 for a burger, no that doesn’t include fries. Sides start at $ 4. The burger was… OK, nothing special, smaller than 5 Guys double but with as much goopy sauce. $ 7 for Russell and Parallel 49 beers. Seriously the only reason to come here is if St. Augustine’s ONEBLOCKAWAY is packed and you can’t get a table. The only bonus is that it isn’t yet another sushi, donair, or pizza place on the Drive. If you’re craving a burger that bad and St Aug’s is packed just walk down to Cannibal.

Servers are very friendly. Met one of the cofounders of the company, River. Super nice guy. Enjoyed the Big Texas the most. Some of the burgers have a lot of toppings and I think the simpler the better. I like medium rare but it’s hard to find any restaurant to cook it that way. The beef was a bit overdone. Onion rings are good. Nice space and great location.

Just normal burgers and fries… not really the«gourmet» I was expecting… burger was good, well seasoned but there was nothing exceptional that will bring me back… fries were slightly undercooked. Staff are friendly and atmosphere was really nice

My rating is based on one experience and the veggie burger. First, the good stuff. The staff are friendly and the place looks okay. The space has lots of windows which is nice for people watching. They also offer a nice variety of toppings. Well, that’s all the good I can say. If you are familiar with The Drive and it’s surrounding neighborhood, you will notice that this establishment seems a bit out of place here. Being part of a Franchise, it doesn’t match the independent vibe of Commercial Drive and the price point is above the norm for The Drive. Another burger joint was certainly welcome on the strip, but for the vegetarians and vegans, the Relish veggie patty(made in house) is a big let down. This review does not reflect the meat. The veggie patty, sorry guys, is the worst there is. It was like eating wet soggy mud with grains of sand and seed mixed in. The flavour was lacking too. If their veggie patty changes, my wife and I may give it another go. Since they opened shop on the veg-head thoroughfare, I do hope they can survive there. That’s it.

Hubby and I decided to give reLISH Gourmet Burgers a try last week. The order taker was very friendly and enthusiastic. We both ordered veggie burgers — one«LA is my Lady»(with avocado, roasted peppers, basil pesto, creamy goat‘s cheese) and one«Harvest Jazz»(with blue cheese, havarti, caramelized onion, walnut pesto). The quinoa-based burger was pretty tasty and I preferred the LA is my Lady toppings. Bun was very nice. Coleslaw and fries were good too. The food and service were good, so why only 3 stars? First, the combos(burger, fries/salad and a pop) run $ 15 — pretty pricy IMO, especially when other places on the Drive have special burger+side+beer combo nights for the same price if not cheaper. Also, I’m not a big fan of bubbly sugar drinks so was happy to hear they also have juice, but at an additional cost. Second, the cafeteria-like ambiance and the food presentation makes reLISH feel more like fast food than gourmet. Although management was excited to finally have a liquor licence, they could not serve us beer because the keg wasn’t due to arrive until the next day. We may give reLISH a reTRY after the taps start flowing…

The staff are super nice but the burgers… Meh. 15 dollars for a burger combo is very pricey I think and neither of us really enjoyed our burger.

We are regular gourmet burger eaters but we won’t be going back to this place. The good: the service, toppings and bun. The mediocre: burger patty flavour, burger size, onion rings, size of sides, price. The downright sad: the fries. The portion of fries was tiny and they were so very blah. We will stick to the Cannibal Café if we want to pay $ 16 for a burger and side, and we will go to Vera’s for the best huge burger and whole mess of fries at a decent price.

The burgers are quite tasty. Great menu and good selection. The fries, however are obviously frozen and disappointing because nothing accompanies a burger like a wonderful freshly cut fry. It was really expensive as well. . I wouldn’t suggest staying in. The ambiance is a bit«sterile». Not the homey, natural, west coast vibe I’m used to. I’ll go back to the cannibal café next time.

Took a walk by a week before opening and this place looked exciting and couldn’t wait to try it. We came by for a late lunch, the décor was nice and the place looked very nice. We had tons of questions regarding the menu, dining today was a meat eater, a vegetarian, and a vegan, the young man at the till really tried hard to answer our questions regarding the content of the burgers. We ordered a cheese burger, a veggie jazz burger, and a vegan-ized jazz burger(no cheeses/veg patty) With a price tag of about 15 dollars each with a side and drink, we were really excited to taste some delish burgers. The sides were great, and my partner loved the meat burger. The premium toppings were well thought out, went well together and tasted good. But the veggie patty fell pretty flat. It’s great that it’s house made, and did have flavour. The patty literally crumbled and I was soon eating a deconstructed blue cheese and onion mash. I really wanted to give this place a 5 star, but it was really just average to my taste. Plus, $ 50 dollars for 3 burger meals seemed a little much for me. I’ll give this place another try, since my partner inhaled the cheese burger, but this time, I’ll stick to the sides.
