They sure can make oak furniture exciting. While they bill themselves as affordable, perhaps if you’re only looking to spend $ 250 for a bench, but their dining tables can go for $ 2,000, especially with the extendable pull out’s.
But for sure, it’s good quality. They’ve got a massive showroom in the back, by Vancouver standards, as it doesn’t look too big from the outside. Near the City Hall Canada Line station.
In the front, they do carry some more modern, sleek office desks, and some mattresses on the right that have the full storage underneath by elevating the top part.
A bit of an Indian theme going on, with some home ornaments available as well.

Beautiful furniture. If I could afford to furnish my entire home with Rosewood Home & Condo, I would.
My wife and I were in the area having lunch, and were about to head downtown to The Bay, and afterwards to Granville Street, to check out some furniture stores as we just moved to a new place. She used to work in the area and would always pass this place thinking it was some super nice but over priced wood furniture store. I love myself some solid wood so I just wanted to check it out anyway before we hit the Skytrain to go to The Bay. No harm in checking things out. It took her some convincing to drag her in the store but she agreed. Little did she know, she would fall in love with the dining table set.
The showroom is large and they have some great furniture pieces for the home. As we walked around, we set our eyes on a dining table set. It came in three sizes and each of them were able to easily extend the table by pulling out a drawer on either side. The furniture is not cheap but if you compare to some of the other high end furniture stores on Granville Street, then it’s a great deal. You can definitely tell that it’s made of high quality solid wood. They advertise that the table will last for generations, and if you consider that this might be the only table we ever have in our lives, then worth it. YGWYPF.
While browsing, the boss, Diamond, (yes, he has a bad ass name) came to talk to us. He was knowledgeable about his products and as he talked, I realized that he genuinely believed in the furniture he was selling. In other stores you can see through the sales person’s BS. However, Diamond was able to tell us the story from beginning to finish of where the furniture is made, who makes it, and how it’s made. He was also able to make great suggestions on which chairs would work best based on the description of our dining space.
Since we were in the beginning stages of our furniture search, we left our email with Diamond so he could send us some more details about the table and chairs we were looking at. Afterwards we never saw anything in other stores as nice as the dining set at Rosewood. Then, it just so happened that we came across one of their ads in the Georgia Strait which had a promotion of no taxes for the long weekend. So a week or two after our initial visit, we went down again to make the purchase.
Unfortunately there was a bit of bad news. The chairs in the colour we were interested in would not be ready until February, which was a four month wait!!! No problem though, as they found a solution that worked for us. They would give us loaner chairs in a different colour and when the chairs that matches our table came in, they would exchange them no problem. Couldn’t pass up the no tax sale so we made the purchase. We were able to pick up the furniture a few weeks later as that coincided with our move-​in date to our new place.
Overall, the furniture is beautiful and everyone who has come to visit has commented on how great it looks. As the furniture is hand made in India, we did find some minor blemishes in the furniture. I contacted Diamond about them and he said they would take a look at it when they deliver the chairs in February. Some of the issues may be able to be fixed on site. I’m hoping they will deliver on that promise but perhaps that will garner an updated review on their post purchase service once that happens.
So far, a great experience at Rosewood Home & Condo. If you’re looking for quality solid wood furniture and are willing to pay a fair price for it, check it out.

We just bought a new house and needed some grown-​up non Ikea furniture for our bedroom. After many hours of scouring the internet & stores in-​person, I came across Rosewood Home & Condo. I love that their website has photos and prices because I found many of the stores that had solid wood furniture did not have photos of their selection or if they did they would not disclose prices unless you visited their showcase store. The prices are between Ikea and high-​end solid wood furniture, which is fantastic for those with expensive taste and do not want to empty their savings account.
I love the décor of Rosewood. It shows the furniture well and looks cozy without being too crowded. I was able to walk around with my guide dog without too much trouble, which is better then quite a few other stores we looked at. It was hard not to go crazy buy all the beautiful wood furniture. The sales staff were friendly, patient, knowledgable and helpful without making us feel uncomfortable and didn’t push the sale when we decided to think on our decision that we come back the next week to make our purchases.
The bed that we loved the best was discontinued and not available in king; however we still love our second choice. You have a few stains to pick from and we decided on teak because it shows the grain of the rosewood well. Our order was delivered on the following Tuesday and the cost of having then bring our bed, dressers & nesting side tables as well as put the furniture together in our room was good especially since we live out in the tri-​cities area.
We are very happy with our new furniture and will be adding a few more pieces to our home from Rosewood int the future.
