Burgers were interesting and good but the menu was overwhelming and the prices were insanely expensive for burgers.

I went by yesterday and this place appears to have closed :( Sign is gone and windows are covered in paper. No action on social media since September 22nd. Bummer.

Came here with my dad and brother. Simply loved the food and everyone working there are amazing. Total sweethearts. The girl came to our table upon request and explained each slider. The owner was amazing and well spoken. Very sociable, polite, positive people. Place had a great vibe and most of all great food. Will definitely make a trip here with the wife.

Wanted some burger goodness, but something a little different. Sliders didn’t disappoint. Had a chicken curry, and Korean BBQ slider with a side of beef poutine. WOW — that was great. Well worth checking out.

I found this on the way to another meet up event on the bus and book marked it for future reference on April 17, 2015 This place is within distance from where the record store is but yet it took embarassingly long to get here. The place has a flow of traffic from busy to slow, however, timing of service was consistent. You get 20% off on Tuesdays which was encouraging for some of my friends and I to get 2 — 5 mini’s, a good way to try different varieties and and to get the passport book stamped. The ambiance reminds me of a college student union building in a plain school sort of way. It’s what you make of it with the company that you hold. I had the butter chicken, chick pea patty, cod and cauliflower cheese. All of them were good with the exception of the cauliflower cheese that needed a bit more more spice to the patty.

Sliders is a fairly spacious restaurant with a simple cafeteria /communal table layout. Clean and simple. Order at the counter, get a number, wait for your number to be called. Sliders also features a lot of money-saving deals: *10% off for local businesses and hospital staff *10% off takeout orders after 5pm *20% off orders over $ 50 *20% off on all combos after 4pm *Slider«passport» — stamp card to try all the different sliders. Fully stamped card gets you a free slider. NOT automatically offered to you, so ask for one and remember to pull it out. The sliders themselves are small burgers, but not super-small. They are actually about the size of a McDonalds burger, maybe slightly smaller but taller. The design of the burgers are also really nice with good buns and interesting fillings. Three sliders work out to be slightly more than a single gourmet burger elsewhere. This is great value as a 3-slider combo is $ 13.99 for three sliders plus fountain drink($ 2) plus basic side($ 4). On top of that, you get a decent bit of different types of sliders. TIP: You can get water! It is at the drinks dispenser. To the left of the ice machine(middle). On that drink dispenser is a separate white lever which will get you plain white water. Took me forever to notice it. DUH. You won’t get a refund on your drink in the combo, though. No vegan option. No gluten-free burger. I went with the«vegetarian option» 3-slider combo as there were 3 veggie options. Cauliflower & Cheese *I seem to remember this as being the least interesting of the three and I was especially missing the«aged cheddar cheese sauce». Mushroom & Goat Cheese *Patty looks black and burnt, but doesn’t taste that way. *Interesting and tasty! Chickpea Fritter *Really creamy chickpea burger. Nice touch of curry here with the curry aioli. Tater Tots *I chose this as my side. It looks like supermarket tater tots, tossed in some condiment to make it tastier than plain tater tots. *I recommend these over the fries, which look decent but which were also nothing special. It’s had to go wrong when each combo lets you choose different sliders — in case of utter flavor disaster, there’s a different slider you can try. Nowadays, $ 12 – 15 gets you a single big gourmet burger and typically no sides, so value for money is there. Not exactly fast-food value, but tasty and interesting burgers at a good price. Cautiously giving them a 5 but keep in mind this was based on my particular three burgers.

This specialized in slider fast food place is a great place to visit with friends on a hot day in the summer time. The restaurant it’s big enough and it accommodates bigger groups. The décor it’s different, their seating reminds me of a playground because of the tables shapes. Even though they have many choices to pick from, i found the food just average. It’s economical but you are paying mostly for a bun and sauces, they barely put any meat in your slidders. The Portobello slider was my favorite, fries tasted like they were old, tater tots were pretty good, fresh and crunchy.

In the middle of concrete city, I probably would skip right over it if I wasn’t intending on going. Considered fast food, but yet not so fast. Food is assembled to order so there is a little bit of a wait. I had the oyster po’boy and pork belly blt sliders with a side of coleslaw. Oyster Po’boy: excellent, perfectly cooked and crispy but needs a tad more sauce Pork belly BLT: too braised for my preference, I like my pork belly more on the crispy side and not so chewy fatty. Coleslaw: as fresh as it gets, topped with diced fruit which I think were pineapples?! I had to drink pop against my will, they should have a jug of ice water for patrons who prefer to stay off the sugar. Additional bottles of hot sauce required, so that I don’t get nasty stares from the lady who was hogging the only bottle to herself at her table. Advise patrons that napkins, utensils etc are self –served after the order is placed.

Came in after a foot massage for a quick bite. Great variety in their menu ranging from east Asian inspired to contemporary soul food all in one little slider. We ordered the 3 slider combo and everything was really delicious and fresh to order. The only reason why I’m giving only 4 stars is because it was pretty pricey for the portions. But all in all pretty tasty

Walked by this place a bunch of times and finally gave it a go. It looks a little nondescript from the outside, but believe me, you must try it! Great variety on the menu, some really interesting and cosmopolitan flavours, reasonable price, and great quality food. Like McArthur I shall return!

potentially this place could be better, but it is what it is. I had a 3 slider combo (pulled duck, korean bbq and pork belly blt) with fries and a shake. The duck slider and raspberry chai shake were the winners here. Unfortunately the ‘korean’ pork was a miss, and the pork belly could have done with a lot less mayo– or ‘slider sauce’. I’d go back to try other options(Beef Dip?), along with the duck. Also I’d drop in for a quick shake when I’m in the area. Décor: not welcoming; adequate to eat in, but definitely not a place to linger over.

Came in for lunch, ordered a 2 slider combo with fries. I had the pork belly and braised beef cheeks. Both were pretty good, just a little on the greasy side. The fries however, can be improved. They probably have been sitting out from the fryer for a while as it was only luke warm and not so crispy. The cashier seemed a little clueless. She didn’t give me a cup for my fountain drink when I placed my order, and she didn’t mention about a punch card either. She asked for my name for my order, but gave me a number card to get my meal later. If you give me a number I don’t think it’s necessary to give you my name? Then the kitchen called the order up by my name, and handed me the wrong meal. What the heck? Perhaps the place is still new and need to sort some small things out. Overall a nice place to have lunch, business near by employees also get 10% off.

It’s true, the smaller it is, the more they will come. Why? Because cute food is tasty. Sliders place popped up near work and our little gang was down to try. We all found something we liked — whether we’re vegetarian inclined or cheese adverse. I recommend you go for the original — it’s got Hickory Sticks. It was the clear winner. I also suggest you skip the duck because it’s prone to drying out. They have an extensive selection and a solid choice of sides. Three sliders plus a side will cost you about $ 15. Not bad and if you’re an average human, you’ll be full on two and a side. My favourite side should be obvious — tater tots. Because I am a grown child. And Sliders serves up the really bad for but really good to you kind. The type of tot that makes you feel like you don’t need anything else in life in that moment. I found happiness in a bowl of deep fried grated potato in all its artificial glory. I mean I grew up off modified treats like this and I swear I’m better for it. Remember when you were 12 and free and all you wanted was tater tots. Join me there.

Delicious sliders, I’ve had all the meat ones and make a point of coming here for lunch weekly. The tater tots are cooked perfectly, crispy but not overdone. Good value, not inexpensive but I feel the quality of the ingredients and the buns justify the cost of 3 sliders and taters for $ 15. Food comes up fast, maybe 5 minutes so it lets me get back to work. I really like the slider passport, buy 1 of each slider, get a free combo. Reminds me of collecting subway stamps when I was younger.

If the food doesn’t get you going, even their décor and table layout should… hip and modern, fresh colours. Back to the food. Ordered their poutine and peanut butter coffee crisp milkshake, maybe I should’ve went with their banana caramel or nutella oreo, should’ve listened to my instinct but went with cashier’s advice lol. They just need to use thicker, bigger straws because the bits of coffee crisp kept on clogging the straw, but hey, it’s a minor issue. Poutine: the natural, original way, and good taste, especially not salty. For the size as you can see, it may be a tad expensive but given the area, not much non-Asian choices at this price point, casual, it’s livable and worth trying their sliders. amex good, smart boys.

New place. Came for lunch. Good ambiance, friendly service, reasonably priced for the combo… 3 Sliders of your choice + large side + fountain drink. $ 14.00 Great variety of slider choices… My only complaint and a two star complaint at that, is the bun!!! They need to seriously rethink the bun. It’s a sweet bun… It’s my opinion as a foodie and cook that all the delicious flavors they’re cooking up are totally overpowered by the sweet bun! Go for a plain bun that will highlight the Flavors! I would eat here again… When they change the bun, of course. Worth a try if you like sweet food across the board.

This review is a little premature as I’ve only gone once and they just opened up. However, after my first visit I would definitely go back for more. They have a good variety of sliders and sides to choose from. I got the grilled chicken, cheesesteak and cod nugget. All were very good. The cheesesteak was the best. Little slices of prime rib cooked perfectly. A hint of smoked provalone cheese. Very nice. 4 sliders came to $ 16. Not bad, but if you’re like me and you get so hungry you could eat the ass out of a horse you will probably end up wanting 6 of these for yourself. I’m looking forward to trying one of thir poutine and maybe the raspberry chai milkshake next time…

I came in here the other day with some friends for a small bite to eat during lunch. They’ve got a great selection of sliders — bite size burgers– and poutines as well. Practically everything is house made or made especially for Sliders. My sister and I ordered the cheese steak slider, beef slider, and pulled duck slider along with a poutine. The cheese steak had a lot of great flavor and the perfect amount of cheesy-ness. The duck was soft and tender and the brioche buns are sooo fresh and fluffy. And don’t forget the beef slider. I didn’t think much of it, but when I took a bite out of it, it was juicy and had a nice crunch from the hickory chips. We didn’t have any aioli on the sliders because my sister has some allergies, but they tasted great without it. I’m imagining them now WITH the aioli… mmmmm. On top of it all, there was the poutine. This was simply a poutine, but the simplest things are sometimes the best. With their house– cut fries, real ‘squeak squeak’ cheese curds and gravy, it was fantastic. Probably one of the better poutines I’ve had in Vancouver, and it’s only $ 6. I’ve got to go back and try the other 15+ sliders on their menu(vegetarians welcome too! They’ve got a cauliflower slider which sounds delicious.)
