Came here and went. Got a hot water and a tea bag. Lots of room(modest) for meetings and for me to finish my craft. My order wasn’t rocket science. Decent selection of pastries.

One girl in particular who works here, I believe her name is either Daria or diary, is beyond awesome. She goes above and beyond to give the best service. Super friendly, personable, and genuinely cares about her job. As someone who also works in customer service, I just had to acknowledge that effort that she puts in. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because Jeremy always over charges me for my drink, and argues with me over the price, even though I have been buying the same drink for 6 years at the same price. Always pay the regular price if anyone else is working the till. Overall great service at this location though.

I’ve visited this Starbucks multiple times and the quality of the product they present to customers is very inconsistent. More often than not I am disappointed that I’ve wasted my money. Some of the staff are rude too. I won’t be visiting this location anymore.

Thank you for remembering my hot chocolate order and making it better and better each time! ;);)

I don’t drink coffee but I love my tea with soy. I only visit this location once a week as a treat. Their quality is the same as any other Starbucks in North America. The reason why I give this place 3 stars is because they’ve screwed up my order at least 4 times. Maybe my drink is hard to remember but when I ask for soy, you better gimme soy. I’m lactose intolerant! Service is good if the ladies are working. There’s this cute lil Asian girl with glasses is awesome. The girl with a boy haircut is nice. And there’s this other Asian girl who I’ve only seen twice never greets her customer. She just stares at you expecting you to know what and when to speak. And then there’s this older guy who speaks monotone and acts like a robot. It’s odd. Whenever there’s a long lineup, I just run across the street to Blenz.

All Starbucks are generally the same. For some reason, the coffee in this particular branch tastes better for me. I’ve been to some other ones that have it too watery or too strong, but this one is just right. I admit I’m a coffee and cigarette kind of gal(trying to quit the cigs part… maybe the coffee too) so I can honestly say I am a regular here, sometimes twice a day. Yes. Twice. So you would think that the staff would know me by now, but it’s really strange because they don’t. My husband laughs at me because he said that some of the staff recognizes him when he goes and even know that he will pay with debit as usual. Sadly, I cannot say the same, am I really that forgettable? boohoo. Anyways, Sammy is great. I barely see her that often, I guess her shift contradicts my schedule BUT on the days I do see her, she knows my name and has my drink ready by the time I’m at the counter… Yet people who see my face on a daily basis seem to not know me yet??? Strange. Sometimes I get to the counter and just give them a blank stare for a couple of seconds to see if they know me or what I’m going to get(C’mon people the same ish at the same time everyday, c’mon now)… Sadly they just stare back at me with a blank stare so I just order :(I like to be recognized as a regular… I’m part of the darn community! lol I just realized this whole post is all about me. Whoops. Err— Yay Starbucks!

My local Starbucks closest to work. No problems, does the job, staff are friendly. My only qualm is I bring my own cup along for the brewed coffee, and sometimes it’s $ 1.85, other times it’s $ 2.07. It’s the same cup! I can never have the exact change ready as it differs day to day: P

Ok, Ok… Starbucks is only as good as the people who work there. And I have mixed feelings, but on average this place this always accommodating and they remember my quirky ways. So, I would say, go down and toss some caffeine down that drowsy cake hole! :0, just remember not to expect more than that… but still go, even though it’s Starbucks!!!

in a non-busy time it took way too long to get my coffee. I watched the guy pick around at the machines, take the lid off the top and stir the beans with it, all while he hadn’t even started making my order. When he finally finished it, he didn’t call it out and he ignored me when I asked if it was mine. Hopefully it’s a one-time slip up but it left a bad impression of that location.

A Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks, right? Well, kind of. But the only reason I am making an effort to review Buckstars is because this is the only one I go into now and again for hot tea, not coffee. Yes, I am a coffee snob and this is justified because I can’t actually drink coffee very often but if and when I do, it ain’t gonna be Starbucks. Moving on, this Starbucks is worthy of a rating because of the stellar staff. Being on the edge of the sketch-ville that is East Hastings, this area may be under construction and renewing its potential but the riff-raff and scary folk are still hanging on, and the employees here at Starbucks have to deal with them everyday. As with the 7-Eleven Tinseltown employees, these folks take no crap from no one! They will never hesitate to tell anyone causing a ruckus to get the eff out and while a baseball bat would be appropriate, there is clearly no need. The authority in their voices is enough to scare the heck out of anyone not causing trouble. Thank you Starbucks employees, your harsh words make me feel safe on a blustery day.
