David MacMillan is a BCRPA certified personal trainer in Vancouver, British Columbia. He will assess your current fitness levels and posture to create an exercise program tailored specifically to your needs. Whether you have athletic or personal goals or are under doctor’s orders, David will get you past those plateaus you’ve been struggling with.

David MacMillan trains out of a fully-​equipped studio in Downtown Vancouver. But he can also meet you at your home, your building’s gym, or your workplace.

I have been involved in fitness for over a decade. Recently, I decided to make a career out of my passion. I am registered with BCRPA as a Personal Trainer.

My goals and philosophies on health and fitness place a strong importance on the three pillars of fitness: cardiovascular health, muscular strength, and flexibility.

My own training began like most teenage boys: in the weight room trying to «bulk up» for football. Then I discovered Arnold Schwarzenegger and Franco Columbu in «Pumping Iron» and I became obsessed with bodybuilding.

Now, from training a multitude of people and learning so much more about what fitness really means, I focus more on metabolic training using barbell com-​plexes, as well as incorporating sprinting, plyometrics, kettlebells, stability and body weight exercises, into my routines.
