The service from this place has led me to write my first ever review on Unilocal.
I highly recommend avoiding this place for ANY purchase. I bought a coffee table and the owner, Inder Phandar, lied to me that the coffee table was a brand new one. Instead, he gave me the show room model which was marked up.
He spent an hour trying to clean it in front of me but there were still marks. Initially, I took it but I was dissatisfied with the marks so I demanded an exchange for a new one, which he agreed to. His dishonesty was absolutely appalling.
He then took 7 months to get a replacement coffee table. He had ordered the wrong colour which was a cause of the delay (and this sounds like a common occurrence in the other reviews I’ve read). However, the worst part is the level or lack of customer service. The staff and Inder will not return your calls nor provide any acceptable level of customer service. I have to imagine that they don’t make money selling furniture as they do such a terrible job at it, but rather this is a front for something else.
I highly recommend avoiding this place.

We were shopping for new furniture and decided to stop and check out this place. We were served by a lady named Irina. This lady seemed really nice and seemed like she was really trying to help us. We were looking to get a custom made couch because the didn’t have the colour that we wanted. She looked online and gave us a price. When we left from there we decided to go somewhere else cause we weren’t sure about the couch. Arriving at Sofa so good, we realized that the lady from Urban Home had not prices us on a couch that we saw in the store but rather a different couch online. Telling us it’s filled with feathers and all the bs. When I decided to call her back to confirm she told me that right after we left, she realizes that it wasn’t the same couch that she had in store and that we sat on. How can you fool people and tell them something completely different when they are willing to spend over $ 5000 on a custom made couch?!? That really pissed me off. And on top of that she prices us $ 2000 more than Sofa So Good! DEFINITELY NEVER GOING BACK THERE. They seemed so desperate for a sale.

I had a lot of problems with my custom order from this store.
First my living room furniture was delivered with
— The wrong fabric on the chairs
— The wrong fabric on my throw pillows
— The sofa was the wrong size
— The sofa had the wrong feet style
— The sofa fabric was ripped
— The storage ottoman was missing from my delivery
The store replaced the items that had been made incorrectly for me and offered 5% store credit for these errors that they described as minor errors that they were not responsible for as the errors were made by the manufacturer.
When the company replaced the sofa, the delivery people tore the fabric of the sofa dust cover and informed me that it isn’t a big deal and that I should just accept the torn sofa with the torn dust cover fabric.
When the company delivered the ottoman that they had missed during my initial delivery, the ottoman had the wrong fabric. The company offered additional store credit and I kept the ottoman with the fabric as they had delivered it.
I had several interactions with the staff of the store that I found frustrating and unprofessional. –At one point I had asked to speak to an owner while I was in the store and I was told that no owner was in the store however when I spoke to one of the women, she admitted that she was one of the owners.
— The sales person who took my order referred to me as a manipulative liar when I pointed out an error with an item I received despite the fact that I had shown him an email documenting the initial order and that clearly showed that an error was made.
I recommend that anyone who orders custom furniture from them document their order in their own words with pictures of the fabric and in fool proof detail and document all conversations with the staff to ensure that problems with the order can be resolved.

First I’d like to say sorry for my limited English.
We ordered one of patio Table from them. After our purchase we just tried to compare their price with couple of other furniture stores (exactly same one) and we saw they did overcharge us! Anyway day after we went to store again than we request to return it but they did not accept! They said ” We don’t refund your money but you guys can choose another cheaper model, this is our policy!!! ”.
I can be understand they are not like Sears or other big company but they just ordered it and they didn’t delivered that item to our home, it is still in their stock. Which is fair think about that!
Anyway they didn’t refund our money and we decided to buy another cheaper model table. We purchase another one and we couldn’t know that our terrible time is coming up with their delivery! On delivery day two young guy came with one of SUV vehicle (Luxury White Acura). We parked their vehicle to building private loading zone (It has gate) One of guy came with us upstairs to assembly our patio table, other guy was he is friend but he didn’t help him. When we go upstairs they forgot out Candle Holder! My wife got mad that time and I told her okay I will bring it tomorrow. Anyway after assembly (15min later) we went to downstairs but surpriseeeee!!! He is friend not there and they didn’t have phone each other, He is phone in the car and locked!!! I swear to God we wait downstairs 30 minutes!!! Can you believe that. This is very bad satiation because there is a gate I have to open that one and they have to leave after that. We stoke there with assembly guy 30 minutes…
It was very terrible time for us. We won’t be there again and I totally not recommend them because all over them Assembly guy did very pour job, After couple of day table’s legs skewed we very disappointed. Unfortunately we put our $ 780 to garbage that time :(
If they read all comments they should be fix all their problems.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
If this were the last store on Earth to buy bed from, I would simply choose to sleep on the floor.
I fully paid mattress and bed on August 2^nd with delivery and assembly. They said they could deliver the mattress «right away», but the bed would have to be ordered from California (turns out it is made in Malaysia) and that would take between 5 and 10 work days. Ok, fair enough. And they would not charge for the delivery twice.
Well, delivery of the mattress was rescheduled 5 – 6 times spanning over 3 days. Friends I asked to wait for the bed multiple times said they love me, but their patience has limits. The store promises they would call, but rarely do, I’d say 5−10% of the time at most. Even more frustrating, every time they would have asked for my number like they don’t have it already! Finally, when the delivery guy called (they outsource the delivery), he said they just told him about the delivery and he did not know what was that all about before because he is not aware of it (!!!). Well, that «right away delivery» took over a week.
Days went by and all I got from them were promises that the bed is at the border, almost there, it will be here tomorrow,… Promises were made all the time. Finally, September 4^th, delivery was made. Delivery was again re-​scheduled multiple times. First between 1 and 2pm. Called at 2.30pm and was promised between 5.30 and 6. Well, called at 6.45 and was told they would be at my apartment in 30 minutes. Well, an hour later, I called again (because they don’t call), they said they had another delivery. Seriously, in 30 minutes you expected to do another delivery and be at my place!!! I just lost it! Which sadly, was not the first time. I was given a promise they would be here in 5 – 10 minutes. 30 minutes later they call to ask for an address (!!!).
They finally got here after about another half an hour. «2 minute» assembly took 45 minutes!
NEVER EVER did they apologize for the delay, making me an idiot asking people to wait for the delivery, my patience, time etc.
Time concept with this store is VERY loose. Go with them if you really want to test your patience. I will NEVER go with them again, even if they were the last store on Earth. One star for this place is too much. I just hope everything is going to be OK with the bed because I don’t have time, patience or energy to deal with them again.

Not trustworthy. We paid fully for piece of furniture, delivery and set up. We were given a 2 hr delivery time btw 3:00 — 5:00 on a Friday. On the day of delivery, we were told btw 4:00 — 6:00. My husband left work early to accommodate this, and at 6:30 no sign of delivery and no call from the store. I called the owner Inder about it and asked for some credit for the delivery at 6:45, He said no, and that the team is somewhere on marine drive doing other deliveries. He did not apologize and said if we had told them we left work early it could have been delivered on time. He said he would ask them to come over as soon as possible. Just few hours earlier my husband asked a lady at the store if it could be done close to 5:00 to comply with strata by laws, she said they would try. At 7:00 the delivery team called to say they are 45 minutes away and on hwy 1 coming to downtown and that try furniture piece was delayed at the manufacturer. We will not shop here again. The lady at the store seemed rushed in getting us to buy a piece without answering our concerns, our mistake for going thru with it despite the poor service.

Everyone who take the Skytrain knows the place. Especially if you are female, because the have a lovely white bedroom set displayed in the window on Terminal. After being to several different stores, this place was the best shopping experience. Inder was polite and informative without being pushy. He helped me make some decisions about what to get. I wish I could have left with more, but my place just is not big enough.
Since the back part is a warehouse It has a nice spacious feel so everything is easy to see.
Inder arrived as scheduled with his delivery guy. They managed to get everything up and with out a scratch. In the end I made off with an area rug, some flowers for my centerpiece, a mirror, dining room set as well as my little desk space (or at least, that’s what I use it for.) Oh. and a 2-​in-​1 ottoman set
Dealing with Inder there was no probems, no hassles. Prices range, but I do not think he likes to negotiate too much as his prices ARE very fair.
When I move into the 2 bdrm, his will be the first place I go!
