Historique

Fondé en 1912.

The Vancouver Curling Club is located at Hillcrest Centre in the facility that hosted the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games curling competitions. With eight sheets of ice in a modern, bright and accessible building, the VCC has more than 1,100 members who participate in 20 leagues.

The VCC has a history of excellence with almost 50 Club teams winning provincial championships, including: 24 Men’s, 7 Women’s, 5 Mixed, 7 Senior Men’s, 1 Senior Women’s, 1 Masters Men’s, 1 Junior Men’s, and 1 Junior Women’s. The VCC is also the proud home of the Lyall Dagg team who won the MacDonald Brier and Men’s World Championship in 1964.
