Wendy’s

Asked for a small coffee, they didn’t understand me, gave me a cup for a drink, charged 20 cents more. I asked for coffee again, they kept the difference. Not coming again, probably.

Stopped by to have a quick dinner before going to an evening class.
Pouring rain.
Ordered the simple cheez burger combo. So it began…
First disappointment my selection of soft drink was not available,
Next my chips fell out of the crappy container and half ended up on the «clean» tray. Went to my selected table only to have to wipe up some
Sauce from the previous occupant.
The chips were to say the least“terrible”. Then came the burger,
The bun turned into dough in my mouth, the sauce was overflowing
So much so I had to open my burger and scrape some off. Yuk!
This whole experience was dreadful, the best part of going there was leaving and getting out in the rain again.
I will NEVER go to another «Wendy’s as long as I live. Promise.

I have been to this location 3x now and can say that my experience has been excellent each time!!! They have the highest quality of fast food I have experienced in a very, very long time!!! Take this from a self-​admitted ‘picky’ diner.
I have had one of the best hamburgers around, the best fries (trumped the big M by a long shot), best asiago chicken burger and the nicest staff all delivered in a spotlessly clean environment. Can not go wrong when you have all this in a place with a warm, friendly environment and easy on the pocket book. Thumbs up Wendy — you have changed my rather dismal opinion of past Wendy experiences. I am a believer again.

I really don’t believe Wendy’s should get such a low review. They have quick service, their customer service doesn’t really matter that much to me since when do fast food stores ever have customer service? (The next door McDonald’s isn’t that much different) Their food is always tasty especially their salad! (They’re the only fast food chain that has such large selection of salads!) And now with their newly renovated store, that cool beverage dispenser and a bunch of outlets for working on your laptops, I think it deserves much more than a three star!

Don’t try and modify your order in anyway because they charge you extra and never follow through. I’m allergic to tomatoes and everytime I’ve gone, I request that they not include them when making my burger. I have yet to see them listen to my request.

So they’ve now renovated the place and cleaned it up, which is a good thing. The old theme looked like something straight out of the 1970s.
The menus are now shown on large-​screen displays. Pricing hasn’t changed too much. What’s also nice about the new layout is that there are now a few bar-​style seats with power outlets, specifically for laptops and gadgets. A nice alternative to the coffee shops that are always filled with hordes of students.
There are now those new beverage (Coke) machines with a gazillion flavours. Only other place where I’ve seen these so far are theatres. What makes these machines special, besides the selection? They’re designed by Pininfarina — yes, the same house that designs Ferraris and luxury yachts. Baller. The only tricky part about this machine (my friends had the same problem, so I don’t think I’m crazy) is that I couldn’t figure out for the life of me how to get the machine to dispense ice. The secret — push the bar behind the cup. I was flipping through the menus like an idiot.
My chocolate Frosty wasn’t as cold as I liked, and melted faster than I could eat it. That wasn’t fun.

Wendy’s is a good old stand by. Love the $ 1.89 items.
Brand new building now to, nice and clean.

This location just reopened a week ago after a nice renovation. The restaurant is new and clean and much more pleasant. Food is decent. I like the new drink machines. You can pick a zillion different combinations of pop-​flavors I never knew existed! The restaurant feels a bit smaller but that’s ok because it’s 100 times nicer and more pleasant.

You don’t except much when you grab a meal at the airport food court, but the Wendy’s here have the worst customer service.

If I feel hungry at late night, Wendys definitely would be my choice!
I drove to Wendy on my way home and bought via drive thru service. It was fast and friendly staffs.
Glad that Bacon Portabela melt on Broiache was back! It was good and filled up my empty stomach.
Just forget about the calories and fat! Enjoy each bite…

Parking is ridiculous. Tip: If Your job is burger person, put some effort into. It shows in your work that u don’t give a shit. Wendys generally makes the best burgers for the price point but this location the burgers suck & the fountain soda is flat.

The Bacon-​nator is one juicy, fatty, and messy bundle of joy in your hand. Just what I wanted, bacon, bacon, bacon, meat, cheese, and more meat. It’s great to be in the western part of the world again! I shouldn’t have it too often but I will go back someday!

Am I the only one that feels Wendy’s doesn’t get the respect it deserves when it comes to fast food?
Aside from the Whopper, which cant be beat, Wendy’s is at the top of my list.
This wendy’s has quick service and is relatively clean. It could use a reno though.

Most of my young childhood memories in regards to fast food is around this location of Wendy’s and the other one on Boundary. I think that Wendy’s has the best fast food burger. They have the most awesome salads. Bottom line is I am sucker for their frosty’s. I like to dip my fries in chocolate frosty. Cheap, hits the spot and a good junk food guilty pleasure. The staff are decent and with the new renos, it still looks ghetto but not as bad as it used to be. Improvements can be made in regards to the toys they offer kids and adults at heart like me. Baked potato topped with chilli = yes please.

This is a pretty quiet Wendy’s so we were able to park, line up, order, receive our food fairly quick.
Every item we ordered tasted the way it should except for the fries. Not sure if Wendy’s fries in general got worse, or was it just this location.

It’s by my house. It’s cheap. I like their spicy chicken burger.
Staff and time wise they’re okay.
Getting into the parking lot isn’t easy if you’re going west bound, you have to either pull a U-​Turn or turn left and turn back around.
On a brighter note I’m stoked on having a Quiznos and Starbucks going into that new Canadian Tire/​Best Buy complex. More choices near by!

Pretty solid service every time I come here late night, esp. in the mood of the Frosty, chocolate of course, it’s a winner. The drive thru pretty short compared to mcdonalds, so expect prompt pickup window!
Just wished there were better signs now that they’re doing some major roadwork for the upcoming onslaught of traffic soon, with the new canadian tire, best buy and walmart.
