Nothing beats a nice, hot and juicy burger right off the grill… just watching it cooked right in front of you, smiling the aroma, watching the flames really making eating the burger itself an enjoyable experience! :) Bronx Burger really hit the spot. The Patty here is juicy, nicely cooked with charred marks… you can see the texture of the patty which give you a nice bite when you chew on it. chew chew and wolfed down… Unfortunately, they did not toast my bun that day. and I found that the bun was really soggy. and maybe I have to request my bun to be toasted next time when I order my burger. The toppings and condiments are limited but in a good way as you don’t want to many other toppings to take about the star of the burger the meat itself! :) The cooks and servers here are all nice and friendly… Looking at them grilling the meat remind me of a lazy summer afternoon at someone’s backyard BBQ party. Nice comfortable seating for me to enjoy my burger… hmmmmmmm 3.5 star

December… Burger… Bronx Burger opened 4 weeks ago in West Rutherford Plaza same as Centro Panini and Turtle Jacks. It’s so new that no Take-out leaflets are available as of yet. The space inside seems huge since there is quite a high ceiling and lots of wall space however this is a dedication to Bronx as in New York. Bronx memorabilia and displays align the décor although there is lots of free space. Tommy Gun, Mofia Photo, NY Yankee Jersey Memorabilia, Bags of Cash, etc… The Women kept busy cleaning up the tables and wiping down the place to keep it spotless. Bronx Burger($ 6.99) seems excessive in price but it’s a 2 Patty, Onion Ring Burger. The Beef Patty is Char-grilled to perfection on what seems to be a Charcoal Grill of sorts. The juice was glistening like a glaze on the outside while the Patty was seasoned just right. Added a side(Onion Rings $ 3.15) which turns it into a Combo that provides a Free bottle of Naya Springwater. This Burger beats out the neighbourhood Licks by a mile and might even turn my Bias-based Detroit Eatery into a tie for first. Onion Rings on the other hand is the average type. This was like a comparison of trying Harvey’s after years of my parents taking me to McDonald’s. This is Bronx after years of having Harvey’s and the likes. Fyi, the Burger photos might look a bit messy as I took it to show what the toppings consisted of.
