North Thornhill Community Centre

Bad customer service at front desk. Ignorant idiots work there. They don’t answer their phones either. These ppl drink their coffee and talk amongst themselves before even acknowledging customers. It happens every time I go there. And they do it to other customers as well. Like why do I have to stand and wait in NO LINE just to ask simple questions or to even get help. So stupid.
I literally put them to a test bc they weren’t answering the phone and I was fed up with the bullshit. The purpose of me calling there is so i don’t waste my time going there if they don’t have what I want. For the 2 days when I was continuously calling at non busy hours (1−2pm & 7−8pm) to ask if they still sell bus passes (obviously no answer) I finally decided to go there in person. When I got there I called them & sat on the bench to watch and see what they do when the phone rings. At the time they were helping a customer which is fine but at least tell the person calling to please hold. Finally when the customer left the 2 lady’s at the desk (one is old, the other young) and a crusty looking guy at the back STILL DIDNT ATTEMPT TO EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE. They literally blatantly ignored the phone.
Next time this happens I’m calling the city. I don’t care. They work for Vaughan and they are giving it a bad name when it comes to customer service. These ppl working at the front desk look too relaxed working there to the point where they don’t care.

Even if you are not into sports and just want to chill, the set up here is more like a park with tons of green area, great for a walk in the evening!
During Summer, there are also free concerts in the amphitheatre. Great place to listen to some music with a full band and live performances!
