I love this place. I’ve been going there for over 10 years and it never disappoints. Simple no frills deli style eatery with lots of heart. It’s consistently delicious and the place I go out of my way to stop by at. Home made perogies and cabbage rolls, warm kraut and grilled polish sausage, do yourself a favour and go now!

we really like this lil place. tasty sandwiches and soups, cabbage rolls, pierogi, a small assortment of polish groceries. we often buy their bags of frozen pierogi to cook at home — we love the cheese ones but not that into the meat ones.

Nice, small shop with good things, reasonable prices, and pretty good fresh food. Maybe I just wasn’t really in the mood for Polish food any of the times I went, but nothing really gripped me. The pierogies are freshly-made, well-cooked and have a great variety of fillings, but the ones I tried weren’t so great that I had to go running back to the counter to order more. The counter itself can move a little slowly, as you’re waiting for someone to remember what meats and cheeses their mother asked them to bring home, when you just want to pay for some sweets or order something to eat. It’s a deli, a shop, and a restaurant, and that’s often tough to navigate as it is here. There’s nothing really wrong with the place, but nothing all that exciting, either.

Cook N’ Pan is my favorite deli. Not only is everything really fresh but it is authentically Polish. I had the lunch special with the vegetable soup, kielbasa, and perogies and I couldn’t get enough! The perogies were just like my grandma used to make them and the kielbasa was grilled perfectly. I brought my friend who had never had Polish food before and he now puts in a request for me to bring perogies and kielbasa to Vancouver for him. I also bought deli meat while I was there and it was very fresh, too. They have a great selection and I love making sandwiches with the Krakowska and their Cooked Polish ham. I also love the Edam cheese that they have. And their pickles are awesome and all-natural. I now live in Atlanta, Georgia and I still crave the food from Cook N’ Pan. I am going back to visit my parents in two weeks and I have already requested a stop to Cook N’ Pan.
