We had the pizza here and the mushroom appetizer. The pizza was delicious thin crust pizza. Pizza size would be enough for one person as a full meal or to share for a lighter snack. The patio is cute with greenery and patio lights. Reminded me of being in Little Italy in NYC.

Great little pasta spot. My wife had a pesto based pasta and not being a big pasta eater, I chose ol faithful… spaghetti and meatballs. We were both pleasantly surprised with how good our meals were, especially me who thinks all pasta tastes the same. Huge hand rolled meatballs and a house made marinara were awesome. Local beer on special so I wasn’t complaining. Only knock was wifes pasta came with olives when asked for no olives. Our server was awesome and very apologetic once pasta came out with olives, but no worries… that meant I could seagull them! Would definitely return and recommend.

One of my favourite Italian places in town. After we moved here from Montréal we had a hard time finding a good Italian joint. This is our favourite. The flourless chocolate cake is divine! Any of the pasta and you won’t be disappointed. Homemade bread is well made! Great atmosphere

While in Victoria, a store associate at the Paradise Boutique recommended we visit Fiamo for dinner — and this place did not disappoint! Service: The service was so great. Our waitress spoke kindly, never made us feel rushed and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. They served us fresh bread before dinner — and it was so amazing. Food: DIVINE! Everything was absolutely delicious. I had a Goat Cheese and Fig pizza. The crust was so savory, the sauce — amazing, the figs — please, I want some more! If they are offering this during your visit, ordering this and it will not disappoint. Dessert: The Mascarpone Cheesecake with a Raspberry sauce — I could have eaten 2! So delicious, savory(not too sweet), creamy… every word that goes along with delicious could be thrown into this description :) Price: The price couldn’t be beat for the quality of food. My total bill was a little of $ 20. I highly recommend stopping in for dinner. Be sure to make reservations(if possible). We were only 2 individuals and visited during the«off season» so being seated was not a problem; however, the location is very small, so accommodating a large group will definitely require planning.

Stopped by this place by chance after our bus from Butchart Gardens tour dropped us off across the street at the Johnson Street bridge. This was the perfect place for a late night dinner-great ambiance, music, service and food! Would definitely eat there again.

Good food, nice atmosphere, and the wait staff were friendly and attentive. We had my 5 year old with us and instead of a coloring page, the restaurant provided a coloring book and box of crayons which provided an hour of coloring for him and an hour of relaxing dinner for the rest of us — THANKS

I came here with a few colleague for the dinner. We had made a reservation and were seated quickly in a separate area upstairs, where no one else disturbed us. The ambiance was really nice, not too loud, perfect for having a nice conversation without yelling at each other. Decent sized starter for sharing, which tasted great. I really liked my «Risotto from the sea». The portion for the mains could have been bigger. Good experience, had a great night.

The food was all decent. The problem was the service. There were at least half a dozen tables open but still with used dishes, we were the only ones waiting, and they kept telling us it would be a few minutes until one was cleaned. That turned into 45 minutes. Finally, 2 waitresses both SAT at a table, and we’re chatting for 10 minutes while setting it. Could not believe my eyes. Took another 30 minutes til someone came to take our order, and then my drink came in another 30 minutes!, I gave up the concept of a refill — never saw the waitress again until we were able to flag her for a check.

My boyfriend and I ended up at this restaurant after someone in line in front of us at another restaurant recommended it. We decided to skip the hour long wait and were happy we did so! While there was a 30 minute wait at Fiamo’s, we were able to sit at the bar and enjoy a drink before dinner. The staff were super friendly, and we ended up only waiting 15 minutes or so for our table. The food was great! My boyfriend got the margarita pizza, and I got a pasta dish with mushrooms and leeks. We were very happy that we skipped the line at the other restaurant and came here!

Great food and atmosphere but service was just ok at best. Everything took time and we had to keep asking for things(water, bread, taking our order etc). Call ahead to understand the wait time before showing up too. Ok Unilocal stars score is dropping as waited over an hour for main course.

We were referred to Fiamo by our bartender from another restaurant. She told us that we had to come here for late night tiramisu, so we did! When we arrived, the waitress told us that we were in luck — we had snagged the last piece! We also told her about how we had just been introduced to «shaft» shots and she got us a round at a really discounted price. Extremely friendly! If you’re strolling around Victoria late at night, definitely stop into Fiamo for friendly service, dessert and a nightcap.

A great Italian meal, without the higher price. Good drinks, food was decent. My gf love the gluten free pasta. My pizza was ok Italian but the cheese wasn’t up to par(been to Italy many times), but it was good. Service was great, besides waiting 15 minutes for check. Otherwise great venue for a somewhat true Italian experience.

Excellent ambience! And super friendly service! I went there only for drinks and I wish I would have had dinner there… All dishes looked good and the wine was great… Next time I visit Victoria I’ll ensure I’ll have dinner in this restaurant

I really enjoyed Fiamo as our first night meal in Victoria. The one thing I notice in Victoria is that in some restaurants the hostess will not always be at her post. I am not used to this; where I’m from, there is always someone there to greet you. All this to say, I walked inside to find the hostess and I think this surprised her a bit. But once we alerted her to our presence, we only had to wait a few minutes to sit, and we got a place on the outdoor patio. It’s a little chilly out there, but we figured it would be a better option than the noisier indoor seating. The menu is what you would expect from a trendier Italian place, and I really thought my ravioli with butternut squash and and goat cheese with sage brown butter sauce was perfectly done and proportioned. The place is open LATE, which was much appreciated. Laid-back service, so don’t go in a rush. A nice place to slow down a bit and enjoy some good food.

The food was pretty good. We were served bread right away. It was just average. A little stale. Then we got appetizers. My husband got the special which was an eggplant and pepper caprese with fig reduction and black truffle oil. Very tasty. My mom and I spilt the caprese salad. Tomatoes were not good. Or not juicy. My husband got pizza. It was delicious. I got the farfelle. It lacked enough chicken. I think I got two bites. My dad got the special pasta. The flavor was ok but the pasta was mushy and all stuck together.

I cannot ayes how pretty this place is. From the tables to the walls you are in for a visual treat by stepping in here. My glass slid down into the table below and shattered, there was no one down there but it wasn’t the best place for the table to be. Of course, not everyone is going to have my slippery fingers. What stupid or to me about that was the immediate and apologetic staff, despite it being entirely my fault. The servers here are very attentive and very kind. Unfortunately the food was nothing special. It felt special ordering, but a little less special eating. I ordered quite a few things off of the menu, and I expected more flavour and texture for the price I was paying. Same went for my company.

This is not an Italian cuisine! The food is flavorless, no basic Italian spices or herbs are used. I grew up in the Mediterranean’s and this is not how the food tastes like there. We ordered linguini and instead we got spaghetti, which was a supermarket grade. The tomato sauce was from a can, there was not a piece of fresh vegetables or herb in it. Very plain and boring. The pasta was topped with one basil leaf, not chopped just a hole leaf. Poor presentation, maybe that is why the lights are dimmed there. There were eighty of us and we were very hungry, but no one finished their food, because how bad it was.

Walked into this place late one Saturday night for dinner and immediately fell in love with the chandelier in the dining room. If only one day that chandelier will be in my foyer! Anyways, the food was delicious, I had the gorgonzola pear pizza. I definitely recommend it, the atmosphere was also great. I didn’t mind at all, but you could definitely hear the music from the nightclub next door. Especially in the bathroom, I’m pretty sure the mirror was shaking on the wall because the music was so loud. But the bathroom toilets did have heated seats!

The first night we went just for dessert as a waitress at another restaurant recommended their tiramisu. We were definitely NOT disappointed. House-made lady fingers, delicious cream and the flavors were wonderful. We ordered mochas to go with and they were beautifully foamy and perfect for our dessert. Our waiter Russ was personable and very attentive to our needs. We spoke at length with Alissa, the manager and decided to come back for dinner the next night. After a beautiful day at Butchart Gardens and walking around Victoria, the staff greeted us and made us feel very welcome and at home. We arrived just about 5PM(they open at 4) so the restaurant was pretty empty except for a couple and their 7 year old daughter celebrating her birthday. Wine was delicious, warm bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and dinner was DIVINE! Again the wait staff was personable, kept our water refilled. Alissa spoke with us again, at length, even though the restaurant was beginning to fill up with dinner guests. We ordered Crème Brulee and the Marscapone Cheesecake. Quite possibly better than the tiramisu! I completely recommend Fiamo if you like well prepared, delicious Italian food. Prices are reasonable, plenty of wine choices, as well as other cocktails and a full coffee/cappucino selection. This is definitely on our«WEWILLBEBACK» list next time in Victoria!
