I have bought a few items here. Good service, quick for orders, no complaints.

Will never shop here again and recommend you don’t either.
Purchased a sealed, brand new board game from here. Upon opening it discovered it was missing components. Rather than replace the game, the store told me to contact the manufacturer myself. Needless to say, I’m extremely disappointed with how this was handled and have been sure to share my displeasure with as many people as I can.
If a local store won’t take responsibility for the products they sell, I see no reason to continue to support them. I have never, as a consumer, been told to take up a problem with the manufacturer because the retailer didn’t want to get involved. If this is how you treat your customers, it’s no wonder people are flocking to better deals online.
As an update, the manufacturer (Fantasy Flight Games) did finally respond and I did receive the missing pieces after about six weeks. However, I think the fact that FFG replaced the components free of charge is irrelevant in this case. Ever other retailer I have ever purchased from has replaced defective merchandise, free of charge without question upon presentation of a receipt. I fail to see why Skyhaven Games can’t do the same. The fact that they would then have to wait for replacement pieces is not my problem, nor should it be. I’m the customer, you’re the store. I once again ask my original question? If a local retailer won’t take responsibility for the items they sell, why should I continue to buy from them?
To everyone else, I suggest looking at Starlit Citadel. They ship overnight from Vancouver and are much cheaper. I’ve already purchased five more Arkham Horror expansions from them since my original purchase and have been 100% satisfied.

I used to like this store, but their customer service stinks.
On top of that, they will not replace your money if you buy a defective product. I purchased a game and noticed about 30 minutes later that 2/​3rds of the game was missing. I took it back and instead of refunding me the money or replacing my game with a complete version (they had one sitting right there) they told me that it wasn’t their problem and that I should contact the manufacturer.
Needless to say I will never shop here again. There are better alternatives elsewhere in Victoria. Yellowjacket for card games, Interactivity Games and Stuff for Board Games. I will never set foot in this establishment again.
