What would you do if you were a young, frustrated, under-​appreciated over-​achiever working 50 hours a week for a large corporation? Well I guess that to walk away from everything and go back to school and learn a job that takes 70 hours a week for half the money, you’d have to be a few fries short of a happy meal.

But if you are like me and have a passion for that job, it doesn’t seem such a hardship after all. That’s just about how I started up as a photographer so long ago that I have stopped counting.

Now you can either think that I am blessed or insane. Me, I’m as happy as my brides when the sun shines on their big day. Add to that a life in the best country in the world with the love of my life, Grainne and you have got to think I walk about with horseshoes in every pocket.

Grainne is my soul mate and lifelong partner. She is passionate about life, compulsively positive and an amazingly gifted photographer.
