Description

Spécialités

The Black Sheep Lounge is a fresh and inexpensive alternative to the traditional Café/Snackbar. We are focussed on delivering an exceptional experience. We offer a comfortable, and warm layout, perfect for conversation over a loose leaf tea, fresh roasted coffee or flat-bread sandwiches on bread made by our family right next door.

Historique

Fondé en 2015.

In 2013 a single cup of coffee changed my perspective on the industry entirely. From the time I was only months old, my Nonno would dip his finger in the end of his espresso and let me taste it, like he did with my brother and cousins. As I grew up the traditional European/Canadian curse fell upon me; COFFEE! I drank it every day, and still do, just better coffee now. I never knew that a world of freshly roasted, socially conscious, and delicious (fruity, nutty, earthy, etc.) coffee existed! After the moment I took my first sip, I was obsessed. I read every book & magazine, watched every video, spoke to every barista & roaster, traveled to specialty shops across parts of Canada and the U.S., and took every course I could find. With a hand from many amazing people my dream came to fruition!

A specialty coffee shop in the heart of Niagara. Serving up freshly roasted and meticulously brewed coffee, fresh, niagara-local foods, live original music, and sincerely happy customer service.

Lucas S.

Gérant de commerce

I was born and raised in one of the most culturally rich cities in Canada; Niagara Falls! Growing up there exposed me to a plethora of lifestyles. I am a firm believer in diversity but also in tolerance. I’ve been a button pusher from the time I could ask a question (although I wasn’t right very often back then). All of this has helped shape my venture with coffee. Something normal to most people is actually quite a refined, yet unexplored, part of everyday life! Coffee has been with me and my family since day one but only recently has it become something that I take seriously. It’s important though, that you don’t take YOURSELF too seriously. That has been my motto for quite sometime: «Think logically; live whimsically.»
