Windsor Riverfront

What a great riverfront!
I was visiting for the Fork & Cork festival, whichI was not all that amused by :-(so I decided to check out the remainder of the waterfront and what a great place it is! A little over 3 miles long, it is almost as long as Detroit’s Belle Isle is around. I was impressed by the many seating areas thoughout the stretch and how well-​maintained it was. Not a piece of litter in sight and even the restrooms were decent.
There is a little Bistro on sight that has spacious indoor + patio seating.
The stretch also contains a sculpture park, a few kids play areas and areas for fishing. Also on-​site parking which obviously limited on a busier day/​event, but for a typical day like when I visited (a Sunday afternoon), there was plenty of spacing.
It is definitely a must-​see. Needless to say, I was dragging my feet to leave this beautiful place ‚-(I definitely recommend a visit here, if nothing else than to check out the awesome view of Detroit :-)
