The Armadillo String Quartet of Winnipeg, Manitoba (2 violins, 1 viola, 1 cello) performs an eclectic array of live Classical, Baroque, Romantic, Popular, Broadway, Jazz Standards and contemporary music for weddings, receptions and all types of other events in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Historique

Fondé en 1993.

Since 1993 the Armadillo String Quartet has been performing on board luxury cruise ships with companies such as Silversea Cruises, Princess Cruises, P&O England, Cunard Line, Regent Sea, Star Cruises, Premier Cruises, and Holland America Line. The quartet had the prestigious opportunity to perform on board the historic Union Castle Line African circumnavigation Centenary voyage (1999 – 2000).

In addition the quartet performed on many Inaugural cruises, World cruises, South American and African circumnavigations, and countless Alaskan, Caribbean and Mediterranean voyages. Throughout their travels the quartet entertained audiences world-​wide while cultivating a unique repertoire of music from around the world.
