This review isn’t of the hotel itself, but the liquor store (also called Balmoral according to the receipt). Might be part of the hotel.
Parking is available in front of the store.
If you drive by, you’d think this place is the scene of a Quentin Tarantino movie, or a recent drive-by shooting. It looks like you’re in the ‘hood.
The inside isn’t any better. You have to get through 2 sets of doors on the way in and out. There are bars and glass isolating you from the guy behind the counter. This place must get robbed a lot or something. Even money exchange places don’t look this intimidating.
The beer was a few bucks more than a government store, but this is expected.
