Fondé en 2012.
Chef Tran was raised in Winnipeg’s west end. He later moved to Paris and trained in the art of pastries and other decadents. Upon his return to Winnipeg, he vowed to bring the flavors and cultures of France to his childhood neighborhood. This tiny west end gem is big on flavour and culture but light on price.

34, trained at Gastronomicom, a culinary school in Agde in southern France, where he specialized in French pastries and desserts.
Chef Cam Tran opened Café ce Soir on Portage Avenue at Banning Street in early December 2012. Tran was raised in the West End and he had no hesitation opening his café in the area, an Area he fondly calls home.
