Cakes by Tanya

I bought a Groupon for cupcakes and called on a Tuesday to order them for Saturday. I told her that I would pick them up. Thought it was a little strange that when I called she didn’t answer the phone very professionally and just said hello so I wasn’t sure if I had the right place. Anyhow, I placed the order and called on the Saturday a couple of times and no one answered. Went by to pick them up and no one was there. Called again and left a message and no one has responded. It is now Monday and I still have not heard back. I will be calling Groupon for a refund. Thankfully there was a Groupon posted on Friday for cupcakes from the Cupcake Corner that I had purchased and was able to use it for the party I had on that Saturday.

Bought a Wagjag deal for a cake and ordered a chocolate cake with peanut butter icing for my sister’s birthday. It was delicious and everyone loved it! She runs the bakery out of a poorer part of the city, so it’s kind of a strange experience, going to buy it from her, but Tanya herself seems very genuine and hard working. I’ll definitely recommend her to others as I was pretty happy with what I got for $ 25.
