Dollar Wise Clean & Press

I’ve been getting my drycleaning done here for some time, but never again. They actually «lost» one of my good dress shirts! I thought I was in an episode of «Curb Your Enthusiasm» when they told me. I’ve heard this happens, but after hundreds of cleanings it finally happened to me. And it was one shirt missing from an order of six shirts, which seemed weird. But that’s not the worst of it. They kept having me come back to see if it showed up, which it never did. I was quite nice and patient with them, but the last time I showed up the employee called a manager at the head office, who had the audacity to ask me if I was sure I hadn’t picked up the shirt at one of my numerous returns since it went missing. I was told to return yet one more time to fill out a claim form so I could get reimbursed. The form said it would take 30 days to receive a cheque. It’s been over 2 months now and I’m still waiting. So I’ve been calling the Head Office during working hours to see what’s up, and I only get a voicemail message saying their hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 4:30. So unless they mean Estonia Central Time, I don’t know why no one is there. And I’ve since been quite pleased with Perth’s across the street!
