Grand Winnipeg Airport Hotel

Really enjoyed this hotel — its all brand new and right on the airport. We had huge windows where we could watch the planes taking off, landing and taxing, which my airplane nut husband loved. Best part was it was NOT noisy!
Clean, spacious, well designed with top service. I will stay again!

Holy cow, was this place super swanky. We stayed here for 6 days while in Winnipeg for the Women’s World Cup, and it made it worth the visit.
I have never stayed in a hotel for that long, and this was the hotel to do it at. The rooms were incredibly clean and spacious. My husband and I were sharing a room with my brother, but at no time did it feel cramped with the three of us. The bathroom was really spacious as well, and the shower — well the shower was pretty freaking great. Also, the beds. Oh man the beds. It changed the way I look at a bed. I don’t think I have slept so well anywhere. It even ruined how I felt about my own bed — so much so that we contacted the hotel once we got back home and asked what kind of mattress it was. They were very nice and replied quickly letting us know the brand and model — which we ended up purchasing for ourselves.
That story aside, there was some great service by the front desk staff. They didn’t seem to be that well staffed, usually no more than two people at a time up there, but they went above and beyond anytime you talked to them. Our first day there, we needed a bank to get some Canadian money and a grocery store and they mapped both out for us — to the bank then from the bank to the grocery store. They were great when my brother wanted to take the bus into downtown and they told him what bus to take and the bus schedule. They even suggested attractions to check out — though there were few cause you know, it’s Manitoba. But they did it all, and had a smile on their faces and were just really awesome and polite.
I would highly recommend this hotel — especially since it’s right across from the airport. As in, get your luggage out of luggage claim, walk across the street, and boom — hotel. You will not regret staying here.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights and really loved it. Spacious, clean rooms, great shower and tasty food. The location is great as well: Directly at the terminal and rental car station. The gym is well equipped.
The iPad in the room with a Netflix account is great as well.

I flew in from Edmonton last night and spent the night at the Grand Winnipeg Airport Hotel, which is at the airport and close to the client’s site. It’s fairly new and has been open for about a year and a half.
The view from my room was of the parking lot right next door. They have ipods in the room, which I’ve never seen before. My king bed was comfy!
My room was $ 159/​night (plus taxes). Parking is $ 10/​day. I rented a car but left it next door in the car rental parking area (a short walk) … I’ll pick it up today. WIFI was included in the cost of my room and I found it to be pretty quick. There was a mini fridge. There was a Keurig with a nice selection of coffees and teas. The Blue Marble Restaurant & Lounge is downstairs. I had a late supper in the lounge last night and it was good.
