Hilary Druxman Design

Long story short: If you are from the U.S., DON’T BOTHER with this place.
This is my first negative review. I generally make it a policy not to write unless I have something good to say. However, I will make an exception in this case. Please note I am a U.S. customer, so I don’t know if my experience would have been better if I lived in Canada and had an address the Canadian postal service could easily access.
That being said I ordered a gift for my sister for her birthday in early September. By mid September it still had not arrived. When I checked the tracking number (through Canadian post vs. U.S. post) it stated that several delivery attempts had been made and a card was left indicating so each time. I never received ANY card whatsoever. Concerned, I emailed Jennifer, the woman who had emailed me with a question regarding my order from Hilary Druxman, letting her know about the situation. Rather than offering any help whatsoever she told me I should go to my local post office. Oh, you mean my local U.S. post office who is just going to tell me to contact the Canadian postal office with my Canadian tracking number? Helpful.
The point is that I’m a full time student who works and also has finals coming up. I don’t have time to go here and there, sit on the phone etc etc just to find my purchase which should have already been delivered weeks ago (it is now mid October). I have one week before the time I am supposed to be giving this birthday gift, and for all I know it’s already back in Canada!
Thumbs down to Jennifer and Hilary Druxman for having incompetent delivery methods and terrible customer service to make it all the worse. Two thumbs down for having to waste my precious time sorting this mess out/​reviewing it.

I have received several gifts from this jewellery shop and really enjoy the pieces from here. The items here are handcrafted with simple modern designs that are well-​priced. Most of the pieces are sterling silver or 18K gold and there are pieces that have pearls and other gemstones. But they definitely lean more towards simply designed sterling silver earrings, necklaces and rings. They even do custom work as my friend received a pretty custom charm necklace from her husband.
Service is decent — can range from aloof to really nice depending on the sales person. And you can usually find the designer herself in the store.
