We arrived at 5:30 on a Fri for a birthday dinner. Despite the fact the dining room was not busy yet, our order still took over an hour to get to our table. The hot and sour soup was quite flavorful but didn’t contain enough meat/veg to justify the price. Most(4⁄6) combo plates were sent back because they were cold. One person kept hers because she was already late for another engagement. The last combo plate to arrive was cold as well, but it was kept because he had waited so long. When we complained they took our plates and likely reheated them in the microwave. They weren’t even piping hot when we got them back, but by then we were hungry enough, we just ate anyway. We were told they were very busy in the kitchen. That didn’t explain the temperature of the food! One couple couldn’t even stay for birthday cake because dinner had taken so long. When it came time to pay, the restaurant did not reduce the bill or compensate us in any way, because of the POORDININGEXPERIENCE, like other restaurants do. I’m giving it 2 stars only because the last time we came it was better, but my family probably will not return. Unfortunately there are lots of mediocre Chinese restaurants in Winnipeg. I’m on the lookout for a great one.

I love this place. I come here as much as I can every time I’m winnipeg. Best egg rolls ever. Their combos are delicious and affordable.

I have eaten in as well taken out. the service is slow and there is far too much msg /salt in the food. They forgot to serve my sauce, so i reminded them and I received my sweet and sour sauce at the end of the meal once my food was gone. No water refills. The batter on the shrimp is so thick you can barely find the shrimp inside. I think the problem is they do to want to hire staff and try to do everything their selves and fail miserably. Expect to wait ten minutes at the till whether you want to pay or pick up.

At first glance this looks like a promising little restaurant; it was clean and looked well taken care of. We were one of 1 other table when we sat down. The waiter was prompt and took drink orders. That is where the pleasant experience basically ended. The waiter disappeared for quite a while before returning to take our order. Once the order was placed the dishes took a very long time to serve — and came out 1 at a time with a significant time span in between each instead of bringing them all at once. The wonton soup I ordered arrived with a large piece of plastic in it. After managing to flag down a waiter this was sent back. This soup finally showed up again near the very end of the meal. The chicken mooshi was so salty it was inedible as well as having a funny taste to it. The wonton had no flavor to it except salt. No one came back — at any point — to check on our drinks/refill, or see how the food was in general. I went to pay and was ignored at the till for around 10 minutes. Employees actually walked around me. After over 10 minutes, I managed to get an employee’s attention and had to ask them if I could pay. After telling the employee of the horrible experience/food we were still charged full price for the food. I would not recommend. There are plenty of other much better Chinese places in Winnipeg to choose from.
