The Cutting Hedge

We had used the cutting hedge for the past few summers and were quite happy, so were confused when this spring had come and we still hadn’t had anyone out to cut the lawn. Upon attempting to contact the owners through phone and email, I finally received an email from «Dan», stating that he had taken over the business and the transition was bumpy at best. I was a little wary about him sharing negative details about the business with a complete stranger but my husband and I decided to give them a chance. We were told that our lawn would be taken care of that week (via text). I responded back to Dan to find out when we could expect them and how much the service would be– to which I heard nothing. I contacted Dan again Thursday, to which he said he would definitely have someone from his crew out to do our lawn Friday. Well, it’s Friday at 6:35pm and still nothing. I texted Dan to inquire– and he said «won’t be today». I texted back saying that this whole experience had been very unprofessional and that he could remove us from his list and I got a very rude text back. Sad to see a good business be taken over by such an arrogant and unprofessional individual.
