La Strada Bakery

Nice local Italian bakery in Woodbridge. Staff are genuinely nice and friendly. Purchased Sicilian style cannoli and pistachio eclairs for a family we were visiting and they called back to compliment our choice of pastries and bakery as each piece was devoured in seconds! Will definitely be coming back as both service and quality was wonderful! Thank you La Strada bakery!

Service: I was greeted by two lovely ladies when I checked this place out. They were very helpful with explaining the pastries. I love how they freshly pipe their cannoli. Thumbs up to that. The only thing was I ordered a specific éclair and the lady who packed my éclair gave me the wrong one. It’s all good though.
Dessert: yummmmmm … Best cannoli ever! I love the different variety of alfajores they have. I love white chocolate so when I saw the white chocolate covered alfajores, I got sooooo excited lol. I also had the butter pecan chocolate chip cookies which was delicious.
Environment: not much décor, but it’s a take out place and you won’t even notice it because you will be focused on the display cases

The staff was extremely friendly. She recommended some great pastries. I wasn’t a big ricotta cannoli fan but the cannoli here was absolutely delicious one of the best I have ever had!!! All the pastries we got were soooooo delicious. Can’t wait to make another trip there and try their cookies. I would definitely recommend coming here for the most amazing Italian pastries.

I am blessed to have this bakery around the corner from the office. Yes I must say best cannoli in Vaughan. We had I blind taste test with friends and there was no contest. They make a perfect espresso. They also have amazing cakes for those special occasions.

Best Italian sweets in Toronto!

Folks, best Cannoli perhaps dare I say it, this side of the Atlantic may very well be found here! Guaranteed best in the GTA spanning Niagara Falls to Thunder Bay.
Best darn «Bacio» Sfoglia cake in the GTA as well. A Southern Italian Staple, the sfoglia they make (puff pastry layered with chocolate and ricotta custard creamed covered in Butter Cream and Ganache) — superb!
These two items, no one compares.
Their traditional Italian cookies will even make your nonna blush. Very, very clean facility — front to back, great people and truly under rated!

Although it may seem like a typical italian bakery in Woodbridge, and although they carry fresh breads and all sorts of italian sweets, the chef at this bakery is from Uruguay and the food reflects south america as well.
Dulce de Leche and Yerba Mate lovers look no further!
You can get homemade ravioli, tapas for empanadas and tons of frozen goods for home made dishes.
They also carry a giant array of already prepared goodies:
Sweet Pastries known as FACTURAS filled with custard creams, jams and dulce de leche, salty BIZCOCHOS of all kinds and empanadas as well as the ever decadent churros (deep fried strings of doug covered in confectioner’s sugar and topped with either dulce de leche or chocolate sauce).
